    “Something major” coming to DHS???

The movie is great, so I wonder if the marketing was just really bad? I had no recollection of the movie existing until I started watching it with my kids ~7-8 years ago.

The Highest of Highs! - What is the pinnacle attraction of Imagineering at WDW past and present?

100%. My mind was blown the first time I experienced that.

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

Yeah, we're eyeing a trip back to WDW in 2026 (last there in Fall of 2022), but that may get bumped back to 2027 which will hopefully give time for some new things to show up, but I guess we'll see. Still planning for Universal in Fall of 2025.

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

Interesting. Still really interested in going to it. Hopefully they put some Oga's level effort into it, but I guess we'll see.

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

I'm really hoping for an update on the Pirates restaurant they announced last year. Seems like it would be a pretty good time, but there's been nothing about it since shortly after D23 2023 and this tiktok video, unless I've missed it?

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens 2025

They have one of those at the Mall of America (it's TMNT themed). It's a surprisingly long wait to get on it and definitely isn't a high capacity ride. It looks great though. Two of them side by side will look even better.

    “Something major” coming to DHS???

Coincidentally, that's more of less my prediction in the predictions thread. Hadn't seen your post until now. Although I think it'll be more like FoP than a coaster, but I'd love for it to be a coaster too...

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

My predictions (based on nothing but me wanting it to exist): DHS: Star Wars Restaurant (it would literally print money) Two new missions for Smugglers Run (seems like a simple win) And DHS predictions that are just silly: Muppet Vision 3D to move to the Star Wars Launch Bay space which is...

Multiple hotel rooms combined into one reservation?

Some friends and I are tossing around the idea of going to Disneyland in mid-September. It's going to be 4 adult men, so we were leaning towards getting two Standard View rooms at the Disneyland Hotel (we like Tiki drinks, so it seems like the obvious choice). Disney doesn't let you book...

News Test Track to be reimagined

For sure. Guardians has a large indoor queue that's mostly unused now. Could hold lots of people in nice air conditioned comfort.

    Unpopular opinions about the parks?

Walking into Alien Encounter without any preconception on what was about to happen was one of the best experiences Disney has ever created.

What "it's a small world" do you think is the best?

I voted Disneyland, but the line can be really brutal, sitting out baking in the sun. They really need to add more trees and umbrellas to the queue, at the very least.

    New Construction in Galaxy’s Edge

I wonder how much money these restaurants make for Disney. Unique restaurant experiences (Space 220, Blue Bayou, Oga's, etc) seem like something that not only add a lot to the guest experience, but also seem like they're priced in a way that would make them rather profitable. A Galaxy's Edge...

Winnie the Pooh - Blood and Honey

Definitely agree with all that. A friend and I went to this tonight as well. We were expecting it to be pretty bad, had a couple of drinks before and during the movie, and it was still bad. Had they gone with more of a campy "yes, this is ridiculous and we're really leaning into that" it could...

Trip Report Mid October Trip, Tuesday - Sunday at Boardwalk

Sure, yeah. Kind of a random assortment: I always forget how nice and quiet it is behind Canada at night. The fancy margarita with a bubble of foam over the top. The waiter is holding the machine that does the bubble/foaming and he was having a heck of a time with it. With the flashing ice...

Trip Report Mid October Trip, Tuesday - Sunday at Boardwalk

Figured I'd write up a report for our trip last month. Sorry if this got a little long. The really tldr; version is that we had a good time :) We were last there in 2017. Would have been back sooner if not for COVID. We'll likely be back in 2026. Stayed at the Boardwalk. Great location. Six...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I had kind of resigned myself to the fact that Tron wasn’t going to be open until after we were there this fall. I’m a huge Tron fan having watched the original probably close to a hundred times, so my plan this winter was to treat myself to a quick jaunt down to Florida to check out the ride...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I've been wondering about that myself. I'm kind of hoping they're planning on opening it before Tron does, mainly for selfish reasons. It'll be a sort of consolation prize to be able to buy some Tron merch when I'm there later this fall, assuming the ride isn't open by then. Also assuming they...
