News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

The Magic Kingdom felt the same way on Saturday, I was kind of surprised by the number of people in the park.

News Disney's Hollywood Studios July 2020 reopening reports

This is so very true, you have to have good timing and a quick finger to get these empty shots based on my visit there on Sunday!

News Disney's Hollywood Studios July 2020 reopening reports

I'm sorry to hear about your experience and can guarantee I would have felt the exact same way you did if people were behaving that way near me. Luckily, I was at DHS yesterday morning just long enough to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway and get a zone 4 boarding pass for Rise. After...

Same! I’ll be at AK tomorrow, Epcot Saturday and DHS on Sunday!!!!

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

This is frustrating to read as a local passholder that wanted to attend but couldnt because the previews filled up.

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

I was able to book at POP for my initial three days of AP reservations, which then allowed me to book three additional reservations in September (because that's the soonest there are any weekend AP passes available).

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

My guess is since its all outdoors it wont apply, as you can take drinks to go from a bar as long as you arent drinking it in the bar itself.

News Annual Passholder previews at Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom to take place July 9 and 10

Does anybody have any guesses about when we will hear about this, I thought for sure it would have been a part of the reservation system today since we didn't receive an email/correspondence about the preview event prior to the system going live for passholders.

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

I agree. Especially if a lot of the passholders front loaded their three days, once their ability to select new passes opens back up there will be even less available for when others can make new selections. Youre definitely at a disadvantage if you didnt select the very first available days...

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

That's a great point and my view was very myopic without looking at the bigger financial picture!

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

I know my perspective is different since I have an annual pass (local), my attendance at the park is as of now "on the books" so if additional hotel capacity was opened, it would not affect the park capacity. I know this is a minority situation compared to the overall bigger picture of people...

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

From a website and phone line capacity perspective I agree but otherwise I don't see the two as being mutually exclusive.

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

My question is, if or when will they allow additional cash hotel reservations at the resorts that will be available when the parks re-open. I'm an annual passholder so I have my first three days selected but I'd really like a chance to potentially grab a hotel room for one of my trips. I know...

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I feel "safer" going to Disney Springs than any other place in this state due to the enforced masks and social distancing, I'm sure I will feel the same way "if" the parks reopen too!

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

Clarification has been provided by Florida DBPR regarding the ban on alcohol consumption at bars; this will only apply to bars that derive 50% or more of their total sales from alcohol. These establishments are still allowed to sell sealed beverages to be consumed outside of the establishments...

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I live in the state the Governor literally said "We are where we are" yesterday in response to rising numbers. The Governor has no plans in closing anything down, he just doesn't want it to appear as though the state is doing nothing while numbers continue to climb.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

If Disney didn't want guests drinking in the parks there wouldn't be four festivals at Epcot that involve trying different wines/beers and alcoholic concoctions.
