    Worst Disney Vacation moment

A couple of things come to mind for me and my family on this topic. A couple of years ago my oldest daughter was 18 months old and her first trip to WDW. 1 week before we were supposed to leave she got really sick. So bad that we spent four days in a childrens hospital with her.....trip...

    Victoria and Alberts

It's been a couple of years since I've been there......but I think your reading to much into it. When we were there I remember seeing a few tables of four. I won't go with my wife and kids, but with another couple I would. Enjoy, and have a great time.

    celeberity sightings at WDW?

On our honeymoon we stayed in one of the honeymoon suites at the Grand Floridian. On morning I went to get breakfast up on the concierge floor. I started for the coffee pot and stopped because some one else was also reaching for it. I stopped and said go ahead. When I looked again it was Wayne...

    Hidden Mickeys at Home

I don't have a picture of it (yet), but we have a three wick candle that we bought recently. After it burned for a while it made a mickey shape.

How many of you married people

Our Honeymoon We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites at the Grand Floridian back in April 1998. It was my first trip to the world since the 1970's. Our room had a view of the wedding chapel across the lake. We could also see the castle from a deck next to our room. No one ever used it and it...

    Grand Floridian vs. Wilderness Lodge

Being on the monorail loop is a big plus for me. Also nothing beats the smell of the fresh flowers walking inside the lobby of the Grand Floridian. Listening to the jazz band while relaxing on one of the lobby sofas is so peaceful. Not to stuffy at all. After all your in WDW. Unless your...

What is the first thing you do when arriving?

We are still using some of the soap we took from our April trip. Lots to take in a two bedroom villa at the Beach Club. The first thing I do is turn on the tv and listen to the WDW tv. Then we walk over to Epcot for dinner.

What Are Your Top 10 Things To Do At WDW? #2

This has become our routine when we arrive 1. At check in have the person say "Welcome Home" Then I know the vacation has started. 2. Turn on the tv in the room and watch the WDWtv channel. (not the same since they no longer have the "zip a dee doo dah, tip of the day") 3. Walk over to Epcot...

    Halloween at Disney Dilemma

We were there for Halloween a couple of years ago. There were alot of kids walking around in costume all day. Each of the stores in the pasks and resorts had candy so the kids could walk in and yell trick or treat! Or try a character meal and let your five year old wear the costume there.

Concierge at GF: is it worth it?!?

I've stayed at both the Royal palm in the main lodge and the lodge concierge in the past. I think they are both worth it. The foods your get at breakfast are pateries, bagels, fresh fruit, and cereal. They also have coffee and tea along with plenty of juices. Later in the day the foods are...

    Transportation and Groceries

If your worried about spending the extra $30.00 on the town car....don't. If you go to the grocery store you'll save from the high prices of food in the parks. Back in April we stayed in the Beach Club villas. We rented a car and stopped at a Publix on the way. We bought enough for breakfast...
