Any chance they have to keep the railroad closed for the Splash Mountain rework?

The Resort TV channel is going away

In November of 2020 our TV at Coronado had the interactive menu and was missing the resort channel. So this has been getting phased in for at least a year and half now. We also received a survey asking what we thought of the interactive TV. I remember spending 15 minutes looking for the resort...

APA is the Administrative Procedure Act and has zero to do with the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).

Thoughts about the progression of projection rides?

I have no issue with using projection to accent a ride. However, the rides (such as Frozen) that project the face onto the animatronic, I find creepy.

What's deflated your WDW enthusiasm the most: Pandemic or Genie+

It's relating to cuts due to the pandemic, but the lack of street entertainment and contributions to the atmosphere of the parks. My girlfriend is limited in what she can ride due to severe motion sickness and relies on "streetmosphere" to be entertained. Since most of this is gone, we have no...

News Walt Disney World theme parks increase capacity but see longer waits and less physical distancing

We went this past week and were able to enjoy the parks and do everything we wanted except for one, Hollywood Studios. Those wait times at the park are actually accurate in the app and when you consider the park is only open 10-7, that isn't much time to do anything when every wait time is an...

Does anyone else find Rise of the Resistance and Runaway Railway underwhelming?

I'm 0-3 on attempting to ride Rise of the Resistance so far, so I can't give my opinion on that. I honestly preferred The Great Movie Ride over Mickey and Minnie.

    Coronado Springs Dining in October?

DFB released a list of restaurants/bars that will be opening at the Coronado when the resort reopens. https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2020/10/09/news-these-restaurants-will-reopen-with-disneys-coronado-springs-resort-soon/

On layoffs, very bad attendance, and Iger's legacy being one of disgrace

Exactly. But in my experience this only works with used vehicles. I arranged my financing through a credit union recently at 1.99 % for 48 months or 2.25 % for 60 months before stepping foot in a dealership. Went to a dealership to look at a specific truck who then attempted to coerce me to...

Predictions on when evening hours and nighttime shows can resume?

It was a reply to someone's comment that they would rather have New York numbers. I'll take 26000 less deaths over an increase in cases that hasn't resulted in New York level deaths.

Predictions on when evening hours and nighttime shows can resume?

32,000 deaths in New York compared to 6,000 in Florida says otherwise. They may have finally flattened it but they failed miserably in the process. It would take Florida almost a year to catch up to the New York death toll at their current death rate despite the rise in cases the past month.

    The Red Button Option

Don't remind me about LucasArts. They handed it over to EA to produce Star Wars games and botched it with their ridiculous attempts at microtransactions.

    Cash-Strapped Disney

I said back in March that if Disney parks and theaters aren't reopen by July there will be a good chance the company goes into serious financial trouble. They didn't take recession hits. They lost almost all revenue aside from Disney Plus seeing as ESPN and ABC aren't doing too well either.

I don't go to a place that crowed, pandemic or no pandemic. Even when I go to football/hockey games I'm there before the crowd and leave after everyone else.

    News New Park Hours...

The reduction in park hours and no park hopping is what broke it for us. We like taking advantage of later hours at amusement parks. Even if there are no EMH, we would still would enjoy the added time of 7:00 to 9:00 at MK. We were supposed to go in September and are moving it (again) to...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Hours have been changed through October. Magic Kingdom shows closure at 7:00 until then as well so that means no fireworks at minimum.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I'm curious about what they will do for those who initially paid for the park hopper option and still plan on going during this.
