Whatever they put in the Stitch spot, it would be nice to have an original ride concept instead of another IP based attraction. I can't remember the last time a Non-IP attraction was added.

I just ran my first one yesterday also. I don't know why, but I'm stuck thinking I can only do 1 a month. Even though I know thats not the case.

Those are pretty cool. Wish they had a PeopleMover, Splash Mountain, SpaceShip Earth, and Imagination medal. A World Showcase with a 5K for each country would be cool also.

Is it possible this land is just for conservation use? Thought I heard somewhere that Disney's agreement with the state was that they had to maintain a portion of conserved land compared to what they build on. This could allow them to build in a different section of the property while...

They did have all of the races blocked off from purchase, but the clock has been going non-stop. The do have the note that the race has been cancelled at the top of the site though.

For some reason, the registration is back open for this race. And the countdown clock is still ticking and making me sad. =(

I expect an influx of virtual races possibly.

Just looked at the RunDisney site for this race and all of the races have been put in the SOLD OUT status. Except for the Cheer Squad. It's still open for purchase. So get out there and sign up everyone!!!

I agree. My knee has been hurting and I wanted to stay at a different hotel anyway. Hopefully Wine and Dine will open more spaces.

Maybe the plan is to just push the race back to 2021 and are busy putting a 2021 sticker over the 2020 on all of the medals and merchandise.

I'll make sure I don't shower after the run to ensure the 6 foot radius around me! :cool:

On an interesting personal note, my wife said if they do reschedule it, I may have to go by myself. Never done a solo trip before. Always wanted to do one. I'll feel bad for not bringing my kid, but at the same time...............It would be pretty awesome.

Going to wait and see what happens with the Star Wars run, but I'll keep it in mind!!!

Just my luck. Checked the rD page and it looks like everything is sold out for the Wine and Dine in November. Will I still get a medal and shirt if I just run around my back yard drunk taking pictures with strangers and just set $4,000 on fire?
