News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

Is there any indication it will be more than that or even that fancy? Im getting the impression it's Na'vi River without the water and animatronics. Probably maintain the same track path and just go spot to spot watching mediocre animation.

    Wow! Monorail Orange.

I'd suspect maintenance will be a little more common between now and 2021. They'll want everything spiffy for the 50th so the trick is what does 2022 bring.

Large Piece Falls off Monorail - Being Evacuated

It's the same concept that's pitched in the restaurant business where if the customer areas are unkept image what the kitchen looks like. Using the philosophy that if a business doesn't care about the customer facing image why do you think they care about what you can't there is plenty of reason...

Large Piece Falls off Monorail - Being Evacuated

Shouldn't that be: Isn't DLR's monorail system considered attraction, while WDW's monorail system is a burden?

    WDW To Enforce FP+ Rules

Coming from the land before FP I would rather wait 2 hours for Soarin than 30 min for it in the FP line and then seeing artificially created 40 min waits for SE and Figment. At least those lines moved back then. Now people wait 2 hours in SB literally just standing.

    WDW To Enforce FP+ Rules

It fascinates me that we are to believe that a company that can't provide a consistently functional website all of a sudden has the resources to make this happen?

    WDW To Enforce FP+ Rules

Choose an answer: A) You can still decide what park you want to go each morning. FP+ doesn't force you to pick ahead of time and there are plenty of FP available each day. B) FP+ is just a benefit to planners. If you want to just be carefree you can always use stand by lines. C) You don't...

    WDW To Enforce FP+ Rules

You also have to keep in mind these policies aren't built with guest satisfaction in mind. Satisfaction is irrelevant if you are emptying your wallet. Efficiency is only profitable if it keeps you on property. There is a benefit to causing backups and stretching out time people spend in the...

I realize why people complain about transportation...

I'd be curious if they knew the monorail was having issues when they got in or were waiting in line. Disney is notorious for not advising people there are problems and then letting people pile in line and then once your in getting out can be quite the challenge.

I realize why people complain about transportation...

When the problems are because of lack of maintenance that's a completely realistic concern.

I realize why people complain about transportation...

Where is all this traffic that supposedly slows down the busses? Outside of Downtown Disney there aren't major traffic jams on property that are slowing down the busses 95% of the time. As for the monorail the issues are mechanical with the engines. You don't have to shut down the whole system...

I realize why people complain about transportation...

I'm sorry but for the 3k plus that an average Disney vacation costs the guest shouldnt have any responsibility to make up for the fact Disney doesn't want to properly maintain things.

I realize why people complain about transportation...

Nice to know that whatever happens at Disney it can always be spun to be the guests fault. Clearly you should have researched and planned enough to know that Disney transportation is unreliable so depending on them to provide the services they advertise and you pay for is absolutely ridiculous.

Rapid Fill Mug Program Fails (at more ways than you might think)

It's not about the loss but the profit. The decision was made to push the sales of the mugs at the resorts. They may lose $2 per person per stay if they were "stealing" soda before but I'd guess their profit on the mugs drinks included is still in the $13 dollar range. It would take a lifetime...

Rapid Fill Mug Program Fails (at more ways than you might think)

We used to own a small restaurant and our local distributor would sell to us at $30 a box and that included the machine and all other related services. The only other expense we had was cups so it worked out to 8 cents a drink cup included for us. Only soft serve ice cream is a bigger money...

Spend a day at the Tragic Kingdom

I'm just really curious how someone could find zero humor in this at all. I get not finding all of it funny but man Strip Mall, USA is about as accurate as you can get.

    Disney cutting back summer hours?

Right because the profit increase they expected from this project was due to charitable donations from the increased experience people were having.
