    Poly twice in one day?

Love the Typhoon Lagoon suggestion! Stuff yourself for breakfast, spend the day trying to burn off some calories and build up a nice appetite in the sun, and then come back and get into Carnivoire mode at Ohana! Tough to top that day...

Another vote for Kona Cafe, Tonga Toast, and pressed coffee!

Split Resorts: Wilderness Studio or AKL Arusha

WL and AKL are two of my favorite resorts, but I'd have to give the nod to AKL, particularly if you are thinking about getting a room with an Arusha view. Whichever way you decide to go, I'd recommend getting to the "other" resort at some point to walk around a bit and get a meal...great...

Best deluxe resort for the Christmas holiday season

I'm going to put in a vote for the Grand Floridian. It's usually not my favorite of the Deluxes, but they go all out for the holiday season and it just has an incredible feel to it. At the very least, get over there and check out the gingerbread house. Not sure if they still have evening...

    The Poly to MK?

If you're concerned with time, I'd stick with monorail. Kona is right there on the same floor as the monorail platform and your only stop in that direction is GF (as opposed to making two stops on the loop from MK to Poly, at CR and TTC). Boat ride is cool...I actually prefer the boat coming...

    Whispering canyon boat from MK

I agree with the answers above, but I'll chime in and say definitely take the boat at least one way. With good weather, it's an enjoyable ride, and the open air / breeze as you cruise over is very refreshing, particularly after having stuffed your face at Whispering Canyons.

    Help me decide.....change of resort.

I've stayed at both YC and BC, and it's a coin flip for me. They really do feel like the same resort to me, but I agree with the points of Yacht feeling a little less busy with fewer young families. Nice thing about the EPCOT resort area is that you can get to all of those resorts and...

    Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain

Minnie- An alternative to your approach would be to get to MK at opening, hang until Noon-ish and try to hit some big ticket stuff before crowds become overwhelming in the afternoon, go back to resort to take a swim/nap, and then return later in the afternoon (4:00) for an 8 hour run until...

POLL - What would you like to have seen announced at D23 EXPO?

I'm part of the Imagination crowd...I want Dreamfinder back, Figment to his old self, a proper Image Works, and an EO replacement.

    Christmas Decorations at Hotels

If your timing is such that the resorts are fully decorated, GF is a can't miss. We stayed a few years back and there were a few nights where they had some holiday-themed entertainment in the lobby as well. I think all of the Deluxes are prob worth checking out...I'm a big fan of coordinating...

50's Prime Time Cafe- getting booted by Star Wars(?)

No firm announcement, but the aerial shots shown on the front page article seem to support what many have guessed re: the location of Star Wars land. Could literally be years before this is confirmed one way or the other.

50's Prime Time Cafe- getting booted by Star Wars(?)

Haven't seen official word, but looks like the consensus from the concept art and some credible speculators is that the whole Echo Lake area will be re-themed. Although the Prime Time might not be as entertaining as it was in its hey-day, we still try to get a lunch here each trip and it will...

    Epcot WS Table Service Question

I have not been to Tokyo dining, but have enjoyed the other three. Like Captain Hook, Rose & Crown is a favorite, but usually because there are multiple members of my party who enjoy the beverages there...:) My kids both had pretty adult tastes at 12 and thus would do well anywhere, but if...

    Be Our Guest Breakfast Confirmed

Regardless of 8/5 or 8/6, do you expect online booking to become available at midnight? Or do dining reservations start at 8:00 EDT? I'm hoping to get in for breakfast on Oct 8.

    Your favorites

One consideration which affect smy response is the size and composition of your party. When we've had large-group (8-10), multi-generational trips, we try to hit places like Biergarten, Ohana, Whispering Canyon, etc. to make it an "experience" and to have a good variety for all. However, with...

    Animal kingdom lodge question

Seems odd that you are offered Kudu trail with a Pool View room. I thought the Pool Views were all Giraffe and Zebra. I've stayed at AKL a few times and been happy with everything we've gotten.

Beaches & Cream for 7 People

A couple of years back, we had a party of seven (five adults and two kids, ages 11 and 9 at the time) and they just moved two tables together. About five of us tackled the kitchen sink and the other two got individual treats. That was night one after we landed in MCO that evening, so it was a...
