    Hi from New Jersey!

Hello hello! My name is Kaitlyn. I'm from NJ and I was a lurker here on WDWMagic for a little bit, then just recently decided to sign up and start contributing. I really love musical theatre and Walt Disney World and that's all there is to know about me, basically. I was just at WDW over the...

    New Latina Disney Princess

For the record, I'm sorry we're not seeing eye to eye on this topic. You're a member who's posts I saw frequently when I was just a WDWMagic lurker and someone I still have respect for. I'm just incredibly passionate about diversifying the media. I apologize if what I said offended you.

    New Latina Disney Princess

Boo, you're not wrong for liking her. You weren't an equation to the mess of a debate that just happened up there so don't even worry about it. Keep doing you!

    New Latina Disney Princess

Girl, bye. This is not just about Disney. The American media itself is white-washed and eurocentric. It's about the media in general. Of course parents should be teaching their children about their background. It is the responsibility of corporations like Disney to help diversify the movie...

    New Latina Disney Princess

Culture representation is so, so, so important for children to see. While I'm happy that she's being introduced, I agree that she should have gotten her own movie. Like Sped2424 brought up, who is Sofia in regards to Rapunzel, Merida, Ariel, etc? Young boys and girls (especially girls) who...

    Confess your Disney Sins!!!!

I don't like Tomorrowland in general. I skip it whenever I can. Carousel of Progress puts me right to sleep (and not in a fun way).

    Which Deluxe?

The Boardwalk is VERY pretty and has great transportation, so BW gets my vote :)

    Is this unthinkable?

I strongly recommend not following this plan. It sounds like a lot of travelling and you probably won't get a lot of things done, especially with a group of 6 people :( I would just do two parks, maybe Epcot in the morning and then Magic Kingdom in the evening. Have an awesome trip!

    Does anyone even eat at...

I don't even think I can remember eating an actual QS meal at Epcot to be honest. I think if I get hungry I just walk up to whatever snack counter they have in the country and order what looks good and repeat the process until my next table service meal.

Deluxe vs. AoA For Family with Small Kids

If you could "swing" a deluxe, I would definitely do it :-) The Grand Floridian is especially fun for small children IMO, they have a very cute water play area with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Grand Floridian is also home to 1900 Park Fare, which is a really great character meal for small...

    How do people afford Deluxe?

I've stayed on property at Disney World twice. Once at the Contemporary in 2010, and once at the Grand Floridian last summer. We booked through AAA travel agencies and originally were planning to stay at the Art of Animation, but our travel agent called us mid-January to let us know we could...
