Would you rather pay less for an “Only Disneyland Park” annual pass?

If there was a cheaper option (say 30-35% less) for buying an annual pass for only Disneyland with no DCA entry, would you do it?

If you were stuck with the left or right side of the park, which would you choose?

I did a clean cut through the middle of both parks, if you had to choose to be stuck with one side, what side would it be? Disneyland Left: Jungle Cruise Tiki Room Indiana Jones Thunder Mountain Mark Twain Columbia Ride of the Resistance Smugglers Run Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Winnie the Pooh...

It’s been 14 years since Tomorrowland has gotten any real additions so why do we keep feeding into rumors of an updated land?

We all are aware of the sad state of Tomorrowland and the basically non existent need to update the land. Throughout Tomorrowland’s history, it has gotten updated about every ten years or so but not anymore. Here is a history of updates to the land along with my reasoning as to why I don’t see...

    Disneyland 70th Anniversary Speculation

So we are roughly about six months away from the anniversary kickoff which will most likely start in May. So far, we have “Walt Disney A Magical Life” confirmed for the celebration but nothing else. Paint the Night is all but confirmed as well as the parade offering for the celebration. I could...

Why does anyone like to go to Magic Mountain?

Not sure if any of you go to this park but if so, why do you like it. I used to go when I was a kid growing up furing the time Time Warner owned it in the 90’s but ever since Premier parks bought it some years later, it’s only gone downfall. The park is just a mess, it’s dirty, dried out paint...

Will Disneyland Park get a new ride for its 75th Anniversary?

We are less than six years away from Disneyland’s 75th anniversary and with all the current focus on California Adventure over that timeframe, is a new ride in the pipeline for such a landmark anniversary? Lots of ideas have been thrown around such as Frozen in Fantasyland, a new attraction for...

Was the 1.1 Billion Dollar DCA Overhaul enough?

With the news of 3 major rides coming to DCA, it’s finally looking like DCA will be more of a well-rounded park. The park has mainly rethemed and updated rides over the last 12 years which has been a bummer for sure. The 2009-2012 Billion Dollar overhaul of the park gave DCA more of an identity...

Which Disney attractions were mostly paid for by Sponsors?

I was kind of fascinated at how many attractions Disney has created were almost paid fully by various corporate sponsors. Usually the company will pay 80 percent of the cost and Disney pays like 20 percent. Mostly every Tomorrowland attraction from 1955-1966 was paid for by some company and...

Why did they bother to rebuild “Rocket to the Moon” from the ground up in 1967?

Rocket to the Moon is an attraction that opened with the park in 1955 and from the beginning was a D-ticket attraction which was the biggest ticket at the time. With the introduction of the E Ticket in 1959, the attraction received E-Ticket status but just a year later, it experienced a...

Which Disneyland Decade comes close to the GOAT decade 1959-1969?

To have lived in that era must have been exciting, I know you have your main attraction points such as Pirates, Mansion, New Tomorrowland etc but there was so much more and just the amount of new offerings each year was insane. To help put it in perspective: 1959: 1. Matterhorn Bobsleds 2...

What attraction does the loss of Splash Mountain compare to for older generations?

I was born in 1986 and Splash Mountain opened in 1989. I rode it early on in about 1992 and it’s always been one of my favorite attractions. I got to experience it for 31 years out of its nearly 34 year span before it closed forever last year and it does hit hard. For generations older than...

Which set scenes are sacred at Storybook Land? What would you like to see?

Storybook Land is a beloved attraction and has been at the park since 1956. Throughout the years, there has been updates to include Aladdin and The Little Mermaid in 1994 (which was the same year that Paris’ version opened) and Frozen in 2014 which replaced “The Old Mill”. Storybook Land in...

TDL’s “Meet the World” attraction with crystal clear video

Meet the World is a very interesting attraction as it borrowed from many others. It is most similar to The American Adventure as it explores the history of Japan and incorporates projecting screens with the set pieces along with the show scenes dropping in and out like American Adventure as...

Do you think Disney would ever bring back the original Star Tours for a limited time promotion?

Call it wishful thinking or what you will but I think the original Star Tours does have a big fanbase out there. I could see Disney bringing it back as a limited-time promotion for the 50th anniversary of the franchise which also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the attraction. The...

Is the future bleak for Disneyworld, Disneyland, etc?

Seems like everything that could go wrong for Disney has done just that. Disney has had a string of box office failures, and is facing a loss by spending too much on Disney plus content. The parks are the only ones bring in the dough and unfortunately, they will probably suffer the most. How...

What is the best timeframe to do these attractions?

Hello all, I’m taking a trip to WDW next week and I am just curious about what time of day I should visit these attractions for the shortest lines: Flight of Passage, Navi Journey, Ratatouille, Mine Train, Peter Pan and Frozen Ever After. Thank You.

Disney Historian Jim Korkis has passed away

I’m sure many of you have read his books on Disneyland or WDW history or heard him as a guest on a Disney podcast. He was a very quick witted and knowledgeable Disney nerd and was a very interesting listen whenever he was on a podcast. He leaves us today at 72.
