Poll: Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining?

I'd have to say try Tokyo Dining. Having given Teppan Edo at least 2 chances, I always come away underwhelmed and missing my local Japanese steakhouse. The food there is simply not much higher than adequate, and for what they charge, I'd certainly expect better.

    Yellow Express Monorail Strands Passengers

What KIND of attraction do you enjoy best?

Of the various kinds of attractions in WDW, which do you feel is best? I'm thinking in terms of big thrill rides (EE, Space Mtn, RnRC, ToT), slower non-thrill rides - aka "dark rides" (PoTC, GMR, TTA), interactive rides (Buzz Lightyear, TSMM, SSE), 3D shows (Mickey's Philharmagic, Muppetvision...

What attraction should be updated next at Epcot?

It's a toss-up between Universe of Energy (removing all traces of Ellen DeGenerate and updating the dino animatronics) and Journey Into Imagination (returning it to the original attraction if they can).

    Solo WDW Trips

For those of you who have ever done a solo trip to WDW......how did you like it? Do you prefer to have someone else along with you, or was it just fine being by yourself and only doing what YOU wanted to do? And what were those things you did on your solo trip that you probably wouldn't have...

When the meal is great but the server isn't...do you ever go back?

If the food is that good, I'd definitely go back......especially since you never really know who your server will be. One might not even work there anymore on your subsequent trip or you'll more likely get someone else anyway. Fortunately that's never come up for me. Sometimes the servers...

    Hotel Hopping

I'd definitely take in a tour of: Contemporary Polynesian Grand Floridian Boardwalk Wilderness Lodge Art of Animation and....(though highly overrated) Animal Kingdom Lodge

Your reason why someone should get a life ban from WDW

    1. Repeatedly smoking in the non-designated areas. 2. Refusal to wear deodorant. 3. Acts of violence towards CMs and other guests. 4. Repeated incidents of line-cutting. 5. Stealing/shoplifting 6. Obnoxious behavior that irritates other guests or ruins ride enjoyment (camera flashes where...

    Pecos Bill's Menu Change

No, I mean on the burgers themselves. The last time I ate there, there were toppings on the burgers at PB that weren't on the ones at CR. I'm sure they've changed it up again since then.

    Pecos Bill's Menu Change

I notice a distinct difference in burgers between the two places. Might just be the toppings that come on the burger, but it is slightly different.

    Pecos Bill's Menu Change

Booo.....terrible idea. I always liked the burgers better at Pecos Bill's than at Cosmic Rays. Keep the Mexican food in Epcot.

If you could change one thing about each theme park at WDW, what would you change?

Removing anything "Frozen" related from every park......permanently.

Poly - Is theme park view worth the extra $$$

Oddly enough, you can still get a "theme park view" without paying for a "theme park view" room. From the Poly, all you can really see of MK are the spires of Cinderella Castle. My wife and I tend to stay in the Aotearoa longhouse on the 3rd floor in what is actually considered a "standard view"...

    Attraction Pleasant Surprises

I agree. It's really one of my top WDW rides.

    Attraction Pleasant Surprises

Are there any particular attractions in WDW that you may have purposely skipped in previous visits, and then decided to go ahead and try it, and then were actually pleasantly surprised by it? I'd say Voyage of the Little Mermaid at DHS.

Should the Castle Forecourt Stage be removed?

Yes, they need to get rid of that castle stage area and let people walk through that section freely, including walking into Fantasyland through the castle. Not every section of the park needs a little stage performance area.

Do you think Disney would take the original soarin' song out of the new movie?

I would certainly hope the original song would stay.......it's a big part of why I love Soarin' so much. And it's so fitting that it could be used for any film they show for this attraction. It's not a musical score that is necessarily tied to just this part of the world. Actually, I think...

Guest banned from WDW for meth lab joke.

Everyone is only hearing one side of the story......but it doesn't seem to stop them from siding one way or the other.
  19. DisneyJunkie

Guest banned from WDW for meth lab joke.

That's irrelevant. The point is Disney completely overreacted to a harmless overexaggeration from someone just trying to make a point. Empty words shouldn't earn a person a ban or the extreme measures that were taken against him.

Guest banned from WDW for meth lab joke.

Yeah, nice and simple: Guest complains about his wait saying he could open a meth lab in his room. Staff completely overreacts, possibly out of sheer stupidity in not recognizing sarcasm. Family is banned from WDW. There you go.
