    Thanksgiving week room discounts

We are wanting to go to WDW from Nov 17th-Nov 22nd this year and stay at the All Star Music family suites. Is this a blackout week or would a 30% room discount apply(if that's what the discount is)? The rack rate is $364/night according to Mousesavers. The disney website quoted me $313/night for...

    April Crowds

No idea. That's how it's done here. Now when I was in college it was at a different time. I want to say it was always in March. It's been 17 years so my memory might be a little off though..lol

That's how it worked out this year. Spring Break correlates with when Easter falls. Sometimes we have an early Easter. :)

My son goes to school until the end of May and starts back the 2nd week of August. Those time frames vary as well. When I went to WDW in early June 2015 the Orlando schools weren't out for the summer yet.

Spring Break here isn't until the week after Easter. I'm assuming Spring Break varies depending on where you live.

Disney Visa Card--are the perks worth it?

Actually I upgraded to the Premier card a few years ago so I get 2% back at gas stations, restaurants and grocery stores..1% for everything else. :)

Disney Visa Card--are the perks worth it?

The only reason I have my Disney Visa is to get the points. I have almost $800 and that has been accruing since I last took a trip to WDW which was June '15. I have had my card since 2004 and have probably used at least $2500 in points. It all depends on how much you spend though..

    Favorite Value Resort?

I like POP better because it has its own bus route. I stayed at All Star Music last summer and most of the time they had to stop at All Star Movies and Sports to pick up guests.

Grossest thing you ate at the parks?

Vegetable lasagna at the Pop Century food court. This was probably 7 or 8 years ago so it may not still be offered but it was the most disgusting thing I've ever had on Disney property....:hungover:

    Memory Maker vs. Photopass?

I went in early June of this year and I wasn't aware that there was still the old photopass option until a photographer at HS gave me a card. All my ride photos (Buzz, TT and Mine Train) were automatically in my account obviously because of the magic band. I ended up spending $70 on 6 pictures...
