Disney Hollywood studios worth $94 a day?

"Worth" is so subjective. Every person will have a different level of perceived value they get out of it. For me, I'd never pay $376 for my family to go here for one day, plus food, etc. However, as an option available on our 6 day parkhopper tickets it is. That would bring it down ~$64/day...

Ok, that's definitely a shot I'd like to get on my next trip, but for the life of me I don't know where that is.

If You Only Had One Evening to Shoot?

I think I'll end up at Epcot. It's my favorite park, and probably has more things I'd like to take pictures of. I'll also have two evenings at MK with the family so I can probably sneak in some shots. I was just curious what y'all would pick.

If You Only Had One Evening to Shoot?

Epcot or Magic Kingdom? Whichever park is EMH that night? Going in December with a large group of family with little kids so I likely won't have time to really stop and do good shots. But I might have one evening where I can get out by myself. If you had the option which would you choose?

Another Newb Question- Batteries and Straps

My next trip is Dec 13th. Family trip with three little kids. Really hoping I can convince my wife to let me go for one night just for photos.

WDW Photographers Gallery (all images welcome)

okay, first share. Still figuring out this flikr thing. Went to the Bush Library and took a bunch of night shots to experiment with different things. Thought this one came out pretty good.

Another Newb Question- Batteries and Straps

Yeah I've been impressed with the battery so far. It hasn't come close to running out even after shooting an all day soccer tournament. Still, I'm about having backups. "Always prepared." Usually it's overkill, but I like the security blanket. I went ahead and bought a nikon battery...

Another Newb Question- Batteries and Straps

That bostail things looks cool. I was thinking about crafting something similar out of paracord and a key ring or carabiner just to have a safety tether. Thanks!

Silly questions from Disneyworld first timer

As stated, you need a the park hopper option on your ticker. Many hotels will allow you to go ahead and check in early and they will hold your bags for you until you return. Every on property resort will do this and many off property will as well, just call and ask what they have available...

Another Newb Question- Batteries and Straps

Thanks everyone. I actually like the look of the Black Rapid RS-7 and that might serve my needs nicely. Might still be a pain to take off to mount to tripod but I think I can probably deal with that, or at least I'll give it a try. But I've save the other recommendations as well. I haven't...

Another Newb Question- Batteries and Straps

Isn't it a pain to unscrew the strap if you want to mount your camera on the tripod?

Another Newb Question- Batteries and Straps

Question 1-in the past I've always 2-3 spare batteries for my p&s or more recently my wife's megazoom. I just bought a nikon and the nikon branded batteries are ~$70. Are off brands safe to use with the same performance? Any brands better than the others? Or should I just suck it up and buy...

Thanks. I do everything in manual also. I'm really trying to up my game from using the preset modes. So far so good. I will give this method a shot as well. Thanks. Yes, I do have a tripod and a remote.

    When is enough enough?

I don't think you understand who the core audience of the parks is. As much as we would all like to think that it's us, it isn't. I don't disagree with any your opinions though.

Thanks. My understanding is that Ev setting doesn't do anything in manual mode so I guess I'd need to be in A or S?

Your Cell Phone / iPad Photos STINK!

The iPads drive me nuts. I've told people to lower them before. If I wanted to watch disney world on a screen I'd sit at home and surf youtube all day. So rude to the people around you. Not to mention, stupid.

    Newb Question-Polarizing Filters

Do y'all use these walking around the park in the daytime? I understand the principles of what they do and how they're used. I got one to play with, but haven't used it a whole lot. Wondering if I need to bother with it at all. I do like the reduced glare that I get with it, and I guess it...
