I think the fact that every boat gets the same moment of let it go is impressive. They figured out the sound mapping and projection to continue the scene after the animatronic is no longer visible and let the scene reset for the next boat. You can hate it, but it was a creative solution to an IP...
Frozen was actually a pretty impressive job to make what feels like a legitimate ride fit into that footprint. I know it's boring, but the let it go scene is pretty impressive when you factor in a full reset for each boat (Esp compared to tianas audio you hit mid-loop
Because of the calendar, that weekend is 3 weeks til Thanksgiving. So waiting another week puts it at 1.5 weeks to edit and produce.
Of course I have no idea if this is why, but it may be tough to do both at the same time.

I was hoping they'd eventually do a DCA-style summer festival with centralized ordering and simply pick up at the booths. Or even a redemption necklace for this festival.
But even still, there's no reason they couldn't execute a miniature festival with menu items at the two Communicore hall...
