Oof. Diet epcot from June 3 til August? Or is the long rumored Epcot International Heat and Humidity Fest finally coming?

I am expecting the same as last year, with a festival break in the summer. There is a significant issue relating to operations of the kiosks in the summer.
Like, they can't keep them cool enough so CM's don't keep dropping like flies?

I was hoping they'd eventually do a DCA-style summer festival with centralized ordering and simply pick up at the booths. Or even a redemption necklace for this festival.

But even still, there's no reason they couldn't execute a miniature festival with menu items at the two Communicore hall booths, connections, land cart, and sunshine seasons plus some entertainment on the stage

Epcot was dead last summer. Lack of festivals, in a park dependent on festivals, certainly didn't help.

Central Florida in May and September are certainly not a respite from heat and humidity. Probably a lack of slave labor from the CP.

That's always been the F&G vibe. Remember when it was Flower Power Concerts until all the 60s bands started dying off?
Little young for that, but I did hear a story once about how an incident with The Monkees forced Disney to stop having post-show M&Gs with bands. Disney for the past few years has just been slotting in a lot of bands from when I grew up (2000s and 2010s) while they have bands from decades before still in touring shape... Just felt odd to me.

The upshot is this festival has concerts you can reasonably attend without a dining package unlike the other festivals.

The heat isn't great but I appreciate the chance to enjoy Epcot festival free for a few months each year.
While I don't want Epcot open 365 days with a Festival, Diet Epcot is a bit rough for my taste.

I'm sure the table service restaurants enjoy the lack of booths for a change.
