hey @Texas84 hope you reply to this If @Texas84 is still gone after Wine and Dine someone else should take this thread over. I will do it, but I am not on here as often as others.

@Texas84 has not been around since June.....hope he/she is okay.

So according to the Higdon calender, Dopey Challenge training begins on September 5th with a 3 mile run, with a 13 mile run that Saturday. That's a steep climb from my daily 4 mile runs. I need to step up the next two weeks.

Ran another distracted four miles today at a slow pace.

3.7 today at a slow pace.

So I was confused by the email I recieved today. I have a family of five. Four of us got the vaccine and were boosted. All of us are over 12. My 19 year old however did not want the vaccine, his choice. So please clarify the clear as mud email for me.

I ran a slow four miles today in the heat of Tennesssee. I am legit thinking this 2022 Dopey will be my last. My wife stopped doing the marathon a couple of years ago, and she actually enjoys the weekend. I think I could be okay with that too, after being a perfect Dopey.

I am booked for Coronado for Marathon week, but honestly I am hoping we can get a CM to get us a freinds and family discount to stay at one of the Boardwalk resorts.

I will if no one elase has.

I did 30 minuites on the eliptical today after working out, followed by two fast 9 minute miles. Getting ready for Dopey training which starts soon.

I still consider the 2015 marathon where I passed Galloway at mile 12 the pinnacle of my running career.
