Things in Orlando (not the world) the proove you have arrived

I'll also say the tram to the airport. And since I live in NYC where we are sadly without it, the sight of a Chili's always brings a smile to my face and is something that I really only see in MCO these days.

How many days for you - part 8

Uh oh...my flight for MCO departs in 4 hours, and I still have yet to go to sleep for the evening. I hope I don't snore too loud on the Magical Express.

Sounds amazing. Have a great time!

    After-Work Disney?

Very jealous! I have a couple freelance clients on the side of my full time job, and I've often thought if I had 1 or 2 more, that I'd be able to easily afford living in Orlando and working from home, visiting the parks whenever I want. (Especially by trading NYC's cost of living for Orlando's.)...

How many days for you - part 8

3 days from now I'll be poolside at the Coronado Springs resort sipping on a cocktail. That's enough to get me through the week :)

Going to a Theme Park alone.

I also have done drinking around the world "alone" - (I started by myself and then a couple hours later a friend met up with me.) I didn't think it was that awkward at all, but I also travel alone a lot to foreign countries and have no problems going to a bar by myself, so this is kind of the...

20th Century Fox to Open Theme Park

Already a thread about this in the appropriate forum, since it's not really WDW News: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/twentieth-century-fox-theme-park-announced-for-malaysia-in-2016.869807/

Anyone ever been to the site of the New York World's Fair?

Last night, we had some friends over to our apartment. I met this guy and we started talking about DIsney. I showed him the large framed photos I have hanging in my room of the three castles I've seen in person (DLRP, DLR, and WDW). He said that he's been to the exact spot where the Carousel of...

Is the second weekend in September really that empty?

I went for 3 days in February and the CMs (including my CM friends) were saying it was insanely crowded for that time of year. I have to agree, I was shocked at the lines for a Sat/Sun/Mon in February. Maybe this weekend in September is just what I need!

Is the second weekend in September really that empty?

If you see a guy sitting around World Showcase with a margarita in his hand and a small green bag, and probably a Mickey Mouse t-shirt...that's me.

Is the second weekend in September really that empty?

I don't think WDW ever gets truly "dead" anymore. Especially for me, who used to live in London and have an AP for Disneyland Paris. You'd go during their off season and it would literally be dead. Even top attractions were a walk on. I rode Pirates like 5 times in a row in my own boat without...

Is the second weekend in September really that empty?

TouringPlans crowd calendars go from 8-9 over Labor Day weekend to 1-3 the weekend immediately after. I imagine that's because everyone is going back to school, but I'd have to think more people would take advantage of that. I've never been down that time of year (I'm more of an early...

Anyone ever attempted Touring Plans Ultimate WDW Plans?

I'm getting really into the idea of "Extreme Theme Park Touring," which TouringPlans.com kind of regulates through their Ultimate Touring Plans. Basically, the premise is to experience every single attraction in a given park in the shortest amount of time, documenting your entire journey. I'm...
