News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

I would love to know what CFTOD paid for that logo design. IF they wanted to build goodwill, they could have had a design contest for Florida college art and design programs and offered prizes. I'm confident they would have had a much better end product.

News Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Permanently Closed Fall 2023

I mentioned before that the facility could easily be turned into a Star Wars themed "dinner theatre" experience. They could have a lunchtime version, a late afternoon version, and an 8 p.m. version that included overnight accommodations. Price point would still be healthy but not astronomical.

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

A couple of observations: If the state deemed that the Reedy Creek Improvement District wasn't doing a good job (a debatable point), they could have replaced it. To create a new Central Florida Tourism Oversight District seems a misnomer when it only involves Disney and neglects all of the...

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

When trees were first planted next to the Connections Cafe, I noticed that they were deciduous unlike many trees at WDW that keep their leaves year-round. Perhaps their use is to facilitate more sunlight into Connections during the colder months of the year.

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

THIS... it would be so easy to do. Kind of a mini ongoing version of what happens at the annual Consumer Electronics Show. Surely Disney could convince a dozen companies to set up booths (perhaps in the unused health pavilion) and rotate exhibits annually.

DHS Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I could envision the Starcruiser eventually repurposed into Star Wars-themed dinner theatre with three showings a day (Noon, 4, and 8). The last show could include an overnight stay and a galactic breakfast buffet. Lots of opportunities for a variety of show experiences that would keep guests...

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I agree that Disney's construction projects are taking far too long. However, moaning about it doesn't get these projects done any faster. Reminder: Disneyland was constructed in one year. ALL of the original Epcot took three years to build.

The American Adventure closing for refurbishment

I have always loved The American Adventure, and I've appreciate updates made to the "Golden Dream" film that ends the show. When EPCOT opened in 1982, the last "historic" element depicted via set piece and animatronic figures was a WW II battleship under repair. Those events are now nearly 80...

Disney excels at bringing fantasy to life, and what better way to enhance Adventures by Disney than recreating the Scottish village, BRIGADOON, which legend says appears once every 100 years.
