For the love of everything, please tell me this has been debunked. I loved the movie, but no IP in our giant beloved Spaceship Earth. If this is true, someone needs to be run out of the parks, permanently. This would be total BS.
"It will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over."
Great, so it will almost certainly be an IP CrapfestioUS. Get ready for Frozen overload!
So what's the cliffs version of this thread and attached news articles? Lots of posters associated with or even employed by Disney manipulating public opinion through social media?
I mentioned this in the Country Bear thread too. Seems fishy that they came out heavy handed with this blog post, and could have included Country Bear, but didn't. It would have been an easy way to smack a bunch down with a single swipe.
I get the "why", but I'm not going to renew mine this time. A 25% increase and all the other increases have pushed me to the cutting back phase now. Damn.
You cared enough to respond, so there's that theory shot to hell. And I'm not moaning. Disney in fact sells LE merchandise on the online store. I'm expressing my opinion that for one of their iconic attractions, it's odd that it's an in park only option. Plus, I posted this in an Illuminations...
So apparently the farewell merchandise is limited edition, in-park only so expect to see it listed on eBay for exaggerated prices. I can't stand or understand why Disney does this.
Man I hope not. It's such a fun time waster watching them go round and round. I was there and met a guy after EPCOT closed that took the trains off their tracks every night. Never knew they did that with them. Nice guy and loved talking trains with him.
