    *Sigh* It's bittersweet

I love to come here and read because it helps keep me up to date with what is going on. I mean something is always changing at Disney from the new fast passes that they are testing to new attractions being opened, and some that are even closing. I also enjoy reading what other people have to...

Said something you wish you hadn't?

I have a beautiful 19 year old Disney fan here!! :D That's so funny!! I may be eating my words too because I have said that I would love for at least one of my children to get married at Disney, now all three of them want to.

    Off property hotels

We normally always stay on site but we will be staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for our next trip. I can't beat the rate for my family of five and the space will be fantastic. Having said that, we have stayed at a couple of different places the night that we have arrived in Orlando that I would...

Once Upon a Time - TV Series

I loved it. I think the girl who plays Mulan is fantastic and she makes a beautiful Mulan. I hate that Rumpelstiltskin is still so mean. I thought his love for Bell would be enough to keep him from getting even with the Evil Queen, but I guess not. I also was happy that she lost her powers, but...

Do you have a collection of your room keys?

Yes, I have some of them. I have used them for my scrapbooks and the kids have theirs too. I love them. I never look in my husbands wallet but he was paying for something a few weeks ago and I saw his last kttw card in there, and I fell in love with him all over again. He says he's not a big...

Kids say (and do) the darndest things - Disney World edition

I can relate to this. When my kids were smaller they would be out side swimming in the pool and every time a plane would fly over they would scream "Take us to Disney World". I always wondered what my neighbors thought about that. :)

Best Mashed Potatoes in the World?

I love the potatoes at 50's Prime Time, Chef Mickeys, and Kona Cafe. TBH, the potatoes at Cosmic Rays that come with the rotisserie chicken are pretty good too.

MK Main Gates getting new look! (Photo)

I was just laughing about that!! I really do like the new blue color that they are painting it. When we were there last time I was thinking that the pink color just didn't look like it fit with the park so this looks much better. I still think that they could make it look even more magical...

Things that gross you out in WDW.

I do the same thing. One thing I do like about Disney is that some of their bathrooms don't even have doors leading to the outside which is great because that's one big germ pool that is avoided. I try to go to those if I can and I use paper towels on the others. I do this at all public...

What is your favorite place to eat on Disney property??

My whole family loves to eat at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort. We also love 50's Prime Time Cafe. They are a must do for us each trip.

Is there any way to walk from Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter to Epcot?

No, there is not a way to walk to Epcot from there. It's further away than it looks on the map. We love love love Riverside though. It's our favorite resort.

    That last day feeling

You described my exact feelings perfectly. I try not to think about how many days we have left until the last couple of days begin to sneak up on me. Then I start to notice people checking in and it kind of makes me sad knowing that we will be leaving soon. Since we only go to AK once I really...

Things that gross you out in WDW.

Oh yes! Two very important things that I forgot. I don't mind a simple kiss and of course holding hands but if someone wants to make out please find a private place for that because I don't want to see it. DH and I keep it G rated in the parks which disappoints him I am sure. Just kidding...

    Family rules for WDW

Just for fun, if my husband were to post here this is what he would say.... 1.) We dont leave the room until I have a cup of coffee. (Has caused problems in the past when we couldnt find coffee in AK. Now I get coffee for him while he showers.) 2.) Dad controls the ride vehicle at Buzz...

    Cost??

Riders can catch the flight daily for $18 ($12 for ages 3-9). My children did this a while back and they loved it. It is closed right now but I just read that it will be opening up again soon.

    Family rules for WDW

Rule # 1. You must get your lazy butt up in time to make rope drop or you will be left behind. Rule # 2. We can split up but we must stay in the same park. Rule # 3. We are here to have fun so absolutely no fussing. Rule # 4. If you bring something into the park be prepared to carry it all day...

    Hollywood Studios entertainment overhaul

No my babies are not babies anymore, my youngest is 11. Even my girls (19 & 14) have been asking for something like a Toy Story show or something cute and fun at DHS. At this point we will take just about anything though just to have something new.
