I like them! They look softer and more cartoon like. Some of the old characters are hilarious. It makes you wonder how some of them were approved for use.

I never had the chance to ride the original, but getting off after our first ride of thr current version, I remember turning to my husband and saying "what on earth was that all about?!" So you don't even need a comparison to know that its a load of balderdash.

It's probably because Christopher Eccleston was rubbish compared to David Tennant. When Matt Smith came along, I stopped watching. That may not be everyones opinion, I know, but could be the reason why.
