I don't know if I'd phrase it that way. It isn't so much as the original must come back, but, replace it with something that isn't anything less then the quality and inventiveness of the original. Even the original had lost it's sparkle when it was running. It went from lines out the door and down the pathway to a walk on. We tend to forget that! However, if one were to compare the current with the original then the original was stellar. So, I guess in that direction of observation, I would want the original back, however, that too would be empty.

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
I put "I Don't Care" ... Because I don't want the original again. I want something NEW involving Dreamfinder and Figment. Especially with todays technology. Why "I want something brand new" isn't an option is beyond me.

If not necessarily a replica of the original incarnation, I do think it should be something in that same spirit with both Figment and the Dreamfinder at the core.

The current version of Imagination! is an insult to what it once was, its truly terrible.

Am I the only person who finds the new colors being orange and yellow ugly?

No, you're not. It's mind boggling how much Disney has wrecked Future World. It was aesthetically perfect to begin with, but they insist on painting everything in gaudy colors, putting up ugly useless tarps, giant letters and a wand on Spaceship Earth, stone monuments with Game Boy Camera photos of people etc.

I never had the chance to ride the original, but getting off after our first ride of thr current version, I remember turning to my husband and saying "what on earth was that all about?!"
So you don't even need a comparison to know that its a load of balderdash.

Exactly. They don't really need that "skunk" because the whole ride stinks now.

I think even the Imagineers are aware that getting rid of the original version was a bad idea. I'm sure they'd like to bring Dreamfinder back (I know Tony Baxter does), but the people in charge are forcing them to build a stupid Frozen ride in the Norway pavilion instead.
