    Favorite animatronic?

That AA from the new Paris version is amazingly awesome!

Please, Disney Gods let this crowd calendar be right. lol

Oh I know that, but last year the crowds were actually pretty nice when I went in early Sep. Disney had extended hours since it was so busy in August and they probably expected it to continue into early Sep. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening this September if the last 3 or so months is...

    Favorite animatronic?

Ben apparently had restless leg syndrome, so the Imagineers really did their homework! ;)

Please, Disney Gods let this crowd calendar be right. lol

I will say, the ONLY negative drawback to crowds being low, is park hours are not likely to get extended right before you go. Last year, Disney extended park hours about 2 or 3 weeks before my WDW vacation. I doubt it is going to happen this year since attendance has been noticeably lower than...

When a ride or show gains an extra odd experience

I was a closet Norway movie fan. I absolutely loved the music/score. The last few times I went on Maelstrom and sat down to watch the movie it honestly made me a little sad to see most people just kept walking and left the theater.

Does blizzard beach have a pool that isn’t a wave pool?

Yeah, it's more moderate swells than waves there. Definitely more peaceful if you don't prefer the waves crashing at TL.

Please, Disney Gods let this crowd calendar be right. lol

TP lowered the crowd calendar levels twice for my trip in the last week. I suspect it is because the parks have been way less busy this year than the previous 3 years. I am at work and don't have it handy with me now, but I have a spreadsheet that I keep track of the daily crowd predictions and...

Anyone do uber while at a Disney resort?

Depends on the driver and ride, but I usually tip about 20-25% on average. So I think my DW Uber trips were only in the $1-$2 range since they were only $6-$7 rides.

    Favorite animatronic?

Yeah, that was probably my fav line, too. Ugh, I loved his entire spiel of dialogue. They really did ruin that scene. :in pain::(:depressed:

    Favourite "strange" WDW smell.....

I love that smell as well! "Greasy, mechanical..." is exactly how I would describe it, too! <<SNIFF!>> Ahhhhh. Love it!

    Solo Dining - Epcot

I think the pub at the Rose & Crown would be pretty fun solo. Another peaceful and relaxing, but not so much fun dining experience is Katsura in Japan. Eat outside way up in the garden area - it's tranquil and really nice. Especially at night. And I know it is more ideal for couples, but even...

    Japan Omnimover Attraction

The closest we ever got to that was on DreamFlight when you were in the Japanese pagoda garden. Loved that whole attraction, but the Japan scene was always my favorite for some reason. 'Tis a shame we didn't have HD quality cameras back then to preserve some of those older attractions for the...

    Scariest Animatronic ?

Ya know, your avatar actually reminds me of one of the creepier ones - the daughter from COP! She always had a weird, blank stare and smile lol

    Favourite "strange" WDW smell.....

Phew. Least I know I'm not having a stroke! Yeah, it's weird how you can smell it way down there. Must be a vent somewhere that allows it to escape or drift down onto the walkways below.

    Favorite animatronic?

The Auctioneer from Pirates is mine! Well, the Paul Frees-voiced version at least. "Do I hear six? Who makes it six!?" Runner-ups would be: Abraham Lincoln from HoP, Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain from the American Adventure, the guy 'hammering' away at the papyrus scroll on SSE, Ursula...

    Favourite "strange" WDW smell.....

When I was a kid we still had full service stations here in Los Angeles, but they were all gone by the late 80s/early 90s. But it wasn't a law, more like a luxury. You could choose to do full service or self service back then. Someone recently told me in Oregon they won't let you pump your own...

    Favourite "strange" WDW smell.....

I like the musty/watery smells near the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon. The moldy smell in some areas where there is moss. That steamy smell of hot concrete mixed with rain as it begins to come down in the afternoon thunderstorms. The smell of the train.

    Favourite "strange" WDW smell.....

I always smell the faintness of the burning ashes of Rome scene underneath! Am I crazy?? I always wonder how can that be - but I know that's what it is. Or at least what I smell at the bottom walking on the sides sort of flanking the sphere. Is that the smell you also smell?

    Help me decide

Got to go with the Poly on this one. The GF is a little too foofy for my liking. It's fine to visit and I have contemplated staying for just a single night. But for me personally, it's a little too fancy and stuffy to stay at for an entire vacation.

Signature restaurants worth that extra credit

Makes me sad that Artist Point may not be what it used to be. I only went once, way back in 2008, but it was one of the best meals I had that trip. I do want to go back at some point, but too many negative or mediocre reviews of late have led me to steer clear.
