If it's a spontaneous thing, I don't think Disney would have any say in it, unless something bigger was planned. In the case of wanting a bigger proposal plan, I would imagine for the right price Disney would put something together like they do with weddings and receptions.

Since you will be able personalize the bands with characters and what not, you could keep the tradition and just pass out the wristbands instead of the tickets.

I agree with you on the part of mold. But you're overlooking other things. Should they have been let go? Of course not. But the fact they are fixed is a good thing. I'm not sure anyone is cheering. Improvements are made. That, last time I checked, is a good thing.
