Absolutely you can use Magical Express with a room only reservation. Chances are you'll be able to keep the same room, but not a guarantee. When you check in for the first night, just let them know you have a second reservation and would like to stay in the same room. You still will have to...

I agree it looks like nothing has been done, since the wall has remained up for a long time. But you can't make the assumption that no work has been completed in that period. Looking back at images from an earlier visit, it looks like the scrims and scaffolding behind the wall are more recent...

The pic confirms it hasn't been fixed yet, but it doesn't confirm that no work has been performed.

As of this past Saturday, the walls are still unfortunately up outside: Hopefully the effort to correct issues inside will find its it way out here as well.

Keep trying, it's early yet and it's quite possible a cancellation will occur between now and then. I would reserve something else in the meantime that you will enjoy to ensure you don't miss out altogether; you can always cancel it if Ohana opens up.

That's what we were thinking. Maybe everyone was arriving today and hadn't hit the park yet. Fine by me! Before we moved here, we twice vacationed that second week of May, and both times very little rain and otherwise great weather (although hot back in 2011 - record heat of 95+).

Well, I'll go ahead and be the one who post the pics of an escalator replacement. It's not a simple repair by the looks of things, but a whole rip out and replace sorta deal. The "down" escalator is completely ripped out. The "up" escalator was still running as usual today. Multi-color...

This alternate exit out of The Land is being used because the "down" escalator is currently being replaced. At least that's what the CM there explained to me today. :)
