transportation to the other theme park

We used MEARS once to get from Pop Century to Universal. We had a new bus driver who was kind of slow at taking the tickets because some people paid ahead of time and he couldn't figure out what to do, but other than that it was a good experience. You just choose a pick up time and then call an...

Do some people take it for granted?

Well I did the college program at WDW for 8 months and didn't get tired of going so I don't think I would get tired of it. It just changes the experience. Its magical in a different way knowing that you can go for a couple hours to watch a parade or spend a few hours just to eat and enjoy the...

    Once Upon a Time...

I love this show and can't wait until season two. I actually think the lady who played the wicked queen does a very good job. There are some poorly parts and acting, but it is just a tv show. One Disney reference I can think of is that the Dalmatian that's in one of the episodes was named Pongo.

    EASTER WEEKEND crowded?

When I was doing my college program we were all working 60+ hours a week around Easter if that says anything. ;)

Remember "Full House" goes to WDW? Now "Modern Family" goes to Disney Parks!!!

I just found the other show I was trying to think of. Blossom went to Disneyland. I think that's actually where the Modern Family episode is going to take place. I've never seen the Blossom episode (at least not that I remember, I remember liking the show but I was young).

Remember "Full House" goes to WDW? Now "Modern Family" goes to Disney Parks!!!

Yes Roseanne, Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and The Golden Girls all went to Disney World. Although the Golden Girls only showed the inside of a hotel and one small shot of the park. I think there was one more show that I heard went, but I...

Is getting a Disney Visa card worth it...

Someone also said this on a couple other sites I've been to. The same thing is true for Target. They said that since some Target/Walmart stores classify themselves as discount stores and some classify themselves as grocery stores they are classifying all as grocery stores for this card. I...

    Quesions about Disney College Program

Oh yeah I forgot. I think they were in the midst of building Patterson when I was there. :) Gosh I feel old now lol.

    Funny Things Said In WDW!

I used to work at Casey's Corner (the hot dog place at the end of main street) and this lady came in and asked where the castle was (as I'm staring at it right behind her).

    Quesions about Disney College Program

    1) YES. It was definitely worth it. The people who didn't like it are usually the people who go down thinking they are going to party the whole time, and not work. So you just have to expect to be working a lot. It was definitely an experience of a lifetime for me. 2) There are 2 main...

Magic Kingdom Gift Shop Policy Fail

I do agree it would be frustrating if the shop looked open and I wasn't being allowed in. And a lot of people probably would react like your friend. Maybe they could just rope off the end of Mainstreet for awhile after the park closes so that only people with a wristband could get past? That way...

Magic Kingdom Gift Shop Policy Fail

I'm sure they don't dump guests, but they probably restrict guests without a wristband from entering the lines after 7pm. Same with the stores, they probably don't shoe guests out of the stores, but they stop them from entering after the park closes to regular guests. :)

Magic Kingdom Gift Shop Policy Fail

Personally, if I were a regular guest, I think I would assume that everything would shut down at closing time. But that's just me. If I really wanted to wait until the last minute, I would ask a cast member when the shops close. There is no harm in asking. I feel like I'm "in the know" because I...

Take away Disney, what is the best park?

I'm glad that you pointed out that there is a difference, but there is no need to be so rude about the OP's question. The OP never mentioned the word "amusement" or "theme" in his original post. He simply wanted to know what PARK people would prefer other than Disney. Also, most theme parks...

    Forgoing the Park Hopper option

I like to park hop tothe parks that have night extra magic hours. We usually end up spendin the day in one park and going to the park that is open late for EMH at night. I understand saving money though. I thought about not getting it on my last trip but ended up adding it at the end. I like...

Once Upon a Time - TV Series

His "wife" is actually the same person that he was going to marry in the fairytale land before he met Snow White. But I don't think we know that she's actually his wife yet. I think the evil queen is trying to keep him away from Snow White. Maybe when he gets his memory back he would remember...

Why I don't really mind paying crazy prices..

I agree, Disney prices aren't outrageous. Of course it adds up when you are spending a week there, but that's the cost you are paying for a good vacation. Its pricey, but when compared to other places like it its comparable. To get a pop out of a vending machine at Cedar Point in Ohio its at...

    Adults without children

My partner and our are both 26 and we waited in line to see sorcerer Mickey on our last trip. We also ate at a character breakfast and saw others without kids as well. I did wait in a line a few years back to see some character a few years back and they closed the line a couple people behind...

    Ride Ruiners

My worst experience on an attraction is when my brother, my niece, and I somehow got stuck riding in a middle of a family on Splash Mountain who were splashing back and forh throughout the whole ride. Its like we weren't even there. If it were to happen now, I think I would say something, but...

Disney World VS. Busch Gardens Williamsburg

I don't think I would every replace Disney as my favorite part, but you make me want to visit Busch Gardens in Virginia! Lol
