Your picture is the old RTS buses with the three steps to get into. When fully loaded you feel like you're going to tip over making turns. They are also very slow and produce a lot of exhaust and soot. The new buses have exhaust scrubbers that make them cleaner.

I just feel bad when I pull up and see some "experienced" (older) folks that are worn out and have a hard time climbing the stairs on a good day, let alone after spending the day out in the hot Florida sun.

They are 2013 Gillig Advantage buses straight off the assembly line in California. All Disney buses will eventually get the new retro red/grey paint scheme. The oldest Gilligs in the fleet were purchased in 2004.

The new Gillig buses have started to hit the roads at WDW. These buses feature the new Disney Transport paint scheme. These additions will help phase out the old RTS buses that require walking up stairs to board. I can't wait to get behind the wheel!!!

DW and I moved to Orlando in August 2012. We are both full time CMs at WDW. DW work in merchandise at MK and I drive the bus based out if AK. We love it here. A big change from where we came from in Delaware.
