News Disney Has Purchased Approximately 235 Acres of Land

Even if Disney DID ever open a 5th gate, my expectations would be low, as it wouldn’t be a park with a specified ‘theme’, but rather a “IP-based realms of fun” park similar to Fantastic Worlds. I feel as though creative vision behind an entirely new Disney Park doesn’t exist, and while I have...

Has RotR changed riders' minds about Galactic Starcruiser?

Here’s my quick thoughts on this project I keep forgetting is happening: When I think ‘Galactic Starcruiser’, I still only think of extremely rich youtube dads with their five year old children and vloggers spending way too much money for their own good just to stay a night. By this, I mean that...

SPOILERS: How Episode 9 Affects Star Wars Land and its Attractions

Yeah, I must admit I feel that the all-immersiveness of Batuu is incredible, but imagineers really boxed themselves into a corner for future development of the land going forward. I mean with the entire Star Wars universe (and all its characters) at their fingertips, I would expect that five or...

SPOILERS: How Episode 9 Affects Star Wars Land and its Attractions

Haha as I was writing that I had forgotten this was a spoiler thread and not the mainstream Galaxy’s Edge one

SPOILERS: How Episode 9 Affects Star Wars Land and its Attractions

When leaving my personal opinions on the new movies out of it, I must admit how fun it would be to have a meet and greet where guests could encounter

Jurassic Park Rollercoaster Coming To Universals Islands Of Adventure?

The third Jurassic World comes out in 2021 or 22 I believe. The ride probably has a tie-in with that and Universal is probably waiting to drop the ball on the “new” Jurassic World addition until then to amp up the movie. The original cast are returning as well, so perhaps the ride will feature...

News Kali River Rapids refurbishment planned for early 2020

Exactly, that’s the same problem that occurs with the Jurassic Park ride in (I think Shanghai (one of the parks in Asia)) and the river rafts ride in Shanghai Disney. Even though it just has that one giant alligator, the rest of the ride is pretty empty and barren like Kali.

News Kali River Rapids refurbishment planned for early 2020

I always jump to Jungle Book just because the themeing would be too perfect-especially if they tried to go with the live action version. It’s an unused classic disney property about Asian animals- it only makes too much sense to add a few bear and tiger animatronics to the empty spaces...

Magic Kingdom Overhaul as a Response to Epic Universe?

I agree. It’d be cool if they could come up with a new land that could be made up of several original or non related IP-based attractions that all fit a common theme.

Well??? Who’s been on RotR and how was it?!?!?!

Haven’t been on it yet....but I watched some on ride footage and a pov online. Videos don’t do rides justice, so I can only imagine how more amazing the experience would be in person. Just wow. I feel like a ride like this could be a forbidden-journey game changer if they stick through with the...

    Question About Buses

    Okay, thank you!

    Question About Buses

While I didn’t intend to bring so much conflict on a simple question I had which I figured was already well known by park regulars like yourselves, I will ask this, from the TTC, are you able to walk directly to MK or must you take the monorail/ferry? Like can you walk directly from TTC to...

    Question About Buses

I understand your point, but considering that this has been going on since Downtown Disney opened, I don’t believe Disney sees it as much as a problem. If they did then they would have switched to paid parking when they transitioned to DS. The majority of guests/crowds who are unfamiliar with...

    Question About Buses

I’m pretty sure you still get free parking at DS if you aren’t a resort guest. I was there in February and was able to park at DS when I was staying at some hotel near Universal. Same goes for all the previous years when it was Downtown Disney.

    Question About Buses

I totally forgot you could walk from Contemporary to MK. Thanks for the tip!

    Question About Buses

So me and a friend have plans to be in Florida during the first week of March, and are looking to spend a day at Disney, probably on a Tuesday or Wednesday. We’re most likely aiming for MK, but also were going to spend some time at Disney Springs that night. Is it possible to arrive and park for...

Disney California Adventure: ‘I liked it better as a parking lot’ - OCR/SCNG

What frustrates me the most after viewing the last episode of the Imagineering Story (besides Westcot getting scrapped) is that behind the scenes footage of them in teams giving out their ideas. In one shot we could clearly see an idea for a park that’s themed to America- elements of Chicago...

News Disneyland to give Snow White’s Scary Adventures dark ride a major facelift in 2020

....I fear screens and awful 3-D (not scary) animation like they use at the Snow White walkthrough in Shanghai Disney.
