As others stated, you didn't get food poisoning. Food poisoning is generally over within 24 hours. If it lasted longer then you picked up a bug from someone.

If you look at the most expensive ticket then Universal is slightly more expensive than WDW. However Universal held the line on a number of ticket options including Florida resident and passes which WDW raised. So for a FL resident, Disney is more expensive.
