Indeed, Series 1 still work. Some older ones may have dead batteries. And those are not exchangable. Series 2 the one good thing is that you can remove them from the band and use them with the right pendant as a medal or keychain. Or swap between bands.

Like the way you think. You could check at the Disney Outlets also for series 1 MagicBands. And who say you can get old event ones and refurbished. Sometimes some paint, glue and glitter can make wonderful one of a kind bands...

Just think the possibilities, Wishes 2.0 The Revenge of the Projectors... OR Wishes 2.0 now with More Projection. Joking aside, I would LOVE to see wishes with Projection, Like they did with Remember Dreams Come True at Disneyland.

Lighting still there, still all around the castle. And lets say that for a low, low price of $100K per projector (and over 24 of them) you can have the same results (and your retina burn too).
