I disagree with what you're saying. The added sound effects don't play until you've already started the sharp turn. Thus, they don't ruin the surprise in any way, IMO. Plus its much darker than it used to be and you can't see the track anymore whereas you used to be able to very well. Also...

I'm sorry but why is this thread still stickied? The yeti is obviously not going to be fixed anytime soon, and every other effect is intermittent. So, who cares??? You could make one of these threads for every single ride because they all have intermittent problems right now.

It was a good idea because the ride itself was extremely outdated. They still have the Delorian and train near Mel's Drive In.

Ugh. If you think Islands of Adventure is "horribly faded and dirty" then you obviously have not ever been to a Six Flags park. Also you are jaded because its a beautiful and well-maintained park.

While I still find it somewhat of a stretch to fit in with DAK, and I don't even care for Avatar that much, I will say this: This is so, SO much better and cooler than Carsland or other Pixar stuff. and I love Pixar.
