    How big is WDW?

I know the 47 square miles comes from the original amount of land Disney purchased, but much of that has been annexed off. Anyone know the current figure?

15 things you would do to improve UOR

Oh no, they have franchises from the 90s! While we're at it, we should get WDW out of the... 1950's - 1970's... :lookaroun

What to put in place of old dumbo?

Probably a monument that says "former Dumbo site" and the monument is the same size and shape as Dumbo was

Say.... What if Avatarland got cancelled?

Harry Potter has characters that are household names, a well established die-hard fanbase, etc. Avatar was just a flash-in-the-pan blockbuster in which people can't remember the names of the characters and the movie has already kind of drifted out of the public consciousness.

Any Updates on Test Track Redo?

Well, the thing is, Disney's track record for announcing something and actually doing it hasn't been the greatest lately...

Say.... What if Avatarland got cancelled?

Sorry guys! I honestly had no idea Avatar: the Last Airbender had that much appeal! I thought it was primarily a 'tween thing.

    Spider-Man Upgrades

Kudos again to Universal for enhancing a great ride when they didn't even really have to.

Say.... What if Avatarland got cancelled?

Sorry, I know this is now off topic, but: A college course full of 20-30 year olds all said they loved Avatar: the Last Airbender? A children's show that has very limited appeal outside of it's target demographic? (unlike something like, say, Adventure Time)

Big changes coming to FASTPASS in March

any card stamped with "guest may use alternate entrance" - if that attraction has Fastpass, the Fastpass line is usually where they go, without question (obviously, for legal reasons), without limits (pass becomes an unlimited fastpass in the wrong hands)

Big changes coming to FASTPASS in March

I understand that, its just frustrating that, while it appears Disney is trying to tackle the "fastpass monster" they created, just somewhat attempting to limit people to go within their window is only the tip of the iceberg, especially if there will be new Xpass factors thrown in. The policies...

Big changes coming to FASTPASS in March

...BECAUSE fake handicapped people are another factor in why the Fastpass line is a problem.

Big changes coming to FASTPASS in March

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at DLR, I believe you now need some sort of documentation to get a guest assistance card, and even then its rare and not every broken toe is treated as essentially an unlimited Fastpass. At WDW, however, basically anyone who feels like being a dishonorable piece of...

EPCOT Nemo ride to get Fastpass

Hahaha. "Well everyone who is bringing up valid points as to why the Fastpass system is flawed is obviously a moron who can't figure out a simple system."

    Universal Announcement January 25

::looking at Block Party Bash:: Universal: Hey, this is good! Lets get something like this. Disney: Hey, this is too.. good. And too much money. Cut it, but recycle the floats to save money.

Video - Splash Mtn finale Jan 22 (all animatronics broken)

This is far from an isolated incident, too. Management will usually use to keep an attraction open with an important effect or scene not functioning than have the ride not available to guests and lose their numbers. Part of the problem, though, is that not enough guests complain, if any. WDW's...

    BTMRR refurb

Its hard not to think of removing the rocks as "the cheap way out" when the effect worked just fine with no incidents for 30 years, and suddenly, when lack of maintenance is visibly increasing property-wide, the rocks fail.

WDW really might want to look again at SAFETY, COURTESY, SHOW, then EFFICIENCY

These days it seems efficiency trumps all else, even though everything else is supposed to trump efficiency. Another example is Tower of Terror's libraries. Though it doesn't happen all the time, its awful when they are crammed so tight that you are shoulder to shoulder with everyone. What if...

Will the Christmas music ever end at the parks?

You realize a lot of people don't have a choice, right? Look, I understand that it would be ludicrous of people to not expect Christmas decorations at WDW during December, but I feel that at WDW its absolute overkill when: 1. the decorations and music are up from the first week of November to...

Will the Christmas music ever end at the parks?

No, its not just you, its anyone who doesn't salivate in Pavlov's Dog fashion when Christmas is mentioned. "Aw shucks, only two and a half months of the year are devoted to Christmas?? Why can't it be the whole year?"
