Yacht & Beach Club really are tops in theming and amenities. It's an easy walk to Epcot from both resorts, but the Beach Club is closer. It's a longer walk to MGM but still manageable. However, if you don't feel like walking, you can take a boat to both parks. Y&B have arguably the best pool...

The Beach Club is the closest resort to Epcot, but it is not the first stop on the bus route. The route is usually Yacht, Beach and Boardwalk. Keep in mind that the bus drops you at the front of the resort and the entrance to Epcot is in the back.

8:22AM. I'd be making breakfast in the kitchen while trying to push everyone else into the shower. Then I'd sit on the balcony and drink coffee and stare at Epcot while I wait for the slowpokes in the group to get ready. :lol: I can't wait another 65 days. :cry:

Usually in the morning we take the boat because it's so hot and the sun is so strong. And it's very peaceful to hang out on the dock and take in the scenery. There never seems to be a long wait either. At night, on the other hand, especially after Fantasmic, the line at the boats can be HUGE...

I'm excited. I think I'm going to try M:S in July! I think Disney made the right call on this one. They listened to both sides of the issue - the people who like M:S the way it is, and the people who think it's too harsh, and they tried to find a happy medium. By not completely toning down...

I just booked the Dolphin for Nov 29th - Dec 3rd, with my government employee rate. We're staying there mainly because we want the convenience of being close to Epcot of MGM, without the hefty price tag of the Beach Club. Everything I've heard about the resort looks great. I'm very excited about it.
