    Help on my ADR's

Check menus and see what you would order and compare that to buffet costs to work out the cheapest meal to pay oop. We're on the DDP but are doing oop for Beaches and Cream so we can split 2 meals between 4 and order the kitchen sink for dessert which isn't covered in DDP. Breakfast is often the...

    Breakfast Prices

There's different advice on when to get there. Some say they were allowed into the park at 8am for their 8am ADR while others got in about 7:45am. There's a separate tapstile for those with early breakfast ADR so won't get caught up in the general early queuers. Am assuming those with the...

    Breakfast Prices

We really enjoy both. Buffets often get knocked for quality but we really liked the food - quality and selection - at both CP and TH. Breakfast is usually cheaper than both lunch and dinner and it's a great way to meet multiple characters. With the amount of food we manage to put away, we...

    So Many Choices!!

Am also onboard with CP breakfast, especially if you can get an early entry reservation. Also love Tusker House at AK for breakfast and recommend early entry reservation there too. Ohana for dinner on our last night is a family tradition now. We love Liberty Tree Tavern but it is closed for...

    Are magic bands worth it?

I was not convinced, so much so that I didn't even bother customising our bands on our last visit (big mistake when you have 4 grey bands and no way of identifying them other than writing names on the inside but then that gets worn off as the day progresses and you forget to rewrite the names...

    Split Stay

We do a split stay each time but with WDW and Universal to take advantage of both onsite perks. Our trips are 15 days so we get a decent amount of time at each hotel. We pack a bag for each of the hotels so one is tucked away ready for use at the second hotel and the first bag is tucked away...

    Chocolate Lover's Kitchen Sink

You had me at chocolate!!! Have a reservation for Oct where we intend splitting 2 meals between 4 so we have space for the kitchen sink-now the chocaholic kitchen sink. Chocolate, ice cream, whipped cream and brownies-my 4 favourite food groups.

5 person rooms at caribbean beach hotel

Was looking at a review of the new rooms and they look fab. My understanding was most rooms had been upgraded to the 2 beds and the pull down which, in the review pic, had a pic of mickey lying on a hammock when pulled down. The reviewer was highly impressed and felt the upgraded rooms and...

    Bang for a Buck

They are. So good my eldest broke into his own spending money to buy one just for himself and for a 9 year old to use their own cash for food that tells you how delish they are!!

    Bang for a Buck

This years UK promo for 2016 includes free dining, $200 gift card and free memory maker. We like the security of booking everything through an agent. Peace of mind for us.

    RER question

No direct route but you just need to get to a station that meets with the DLP line. You can take the metro and change at Les Halles just over the river to the RER A line to Marne la Vallee. Should take about an hour. Trains are pretty frequent.

    Another First Time Euro-er

I really like DLP and, coming from Scotland, we can go for short breaks. There are some nice little unique touches that are different to WDW and I think are more akin to DL but have never been there so can only go on what I've read.

Things for a Family With Young Kids to Do on the "Off" Days

That's our plan too, except we're leaving the parks a bit earlier and building in non-park stuff that way. We've planned meals at some of the resorts and intend exploring, especially AKL which I've always wanted to visit but never got round to. When we leave HS we're going to take the...

    Water Parks?

Both parks are great and the surprise hit of our last trip was snorkelling through Shark Reef at TL. It was a cooler day in October with nobody waiting so the CM just kept waving us though 6 times in a row. This trip we are in WDW fewer days than previously so we are only doing one of the...

    Universal need a worldclass show

Agreed. Nemo is amazing, as is FotLK and we like BatB at HS. Uni could really benefit from a showstopper but musicals are more a Disney thing I suppose. Not sure which franchise would be turned into a musical? Having said that they turned Spiderman into a musical and didn't they do a musical...

    Not a Clue

Another big fan! Great rides and theming. Love that everything is walking distance. Table service dining so much more reasonably priced and no need for ADRs booked 6 months in advance. So much going on with new projects too. We do split stays to take advantage of onsite perks at WDW and at Uni...

    Minion Mayhem Dance Party

With the express passes we only ever waited about 10-15 minutes for minion mayhem with a 60 minute stand by wait. The wait with EPs is a little longer than with Disney FP+.
