Trying to find out the prices for Character Breakfasts. Particularly interested in Tuskers & Crystal Palace

As far as I know prices are seasonal, so quieter times are cheaper. I expect early July is busy so at the top end of the range.

Seasonal pricing for Character Dining is just another cash grab. They don't raise food prices throughout the parks on a seasonal basis........well not yet anyway.

Maybe we're fools for paying it.

I don't think anyone is a fool for paying unless it's something you can't afford. A Disney vacation is expensive no matter how you look at it. Our son enjoys the character breakfasts or dinners on each trip, so we pay for them. I just think its an unfair temporary price increase, but whoever said Disney was fair.

We really enjoy both. Buffets often get knocked for quality but we really liked the food - quality and selection - at both CP and TH. Breakfast is usually cheaper than both lunch and dinner and it's a great way to meet multiple characters. With the amount of food we manage to put away, we didn't need to eat again till late afternoon so just needed 2 meals. Have managed to secure 8am ADRs for both breakfasts for our October trip. :hungry: Early entry ADRs mean you get to enter before everyone else and get some amazing pics of near empty parks.

I've managed to get us an 08:00 and an 08:05 reservation. Still unsure though what time to get to the parks and if we just go to the normal carparks as staying off site

There's different advice on when to get there. Some say they were allowed into the park at 8am for their 8am ADR while others got in about 7:45am. There's a separate tapstile for those with early breakfast ADR so won't get caught up in the general early queuers. Am assuming those with the earliest ADRs will be let in first and in plenty of time to get to the restaurant.

We've done first seating pre-park opening ADRs at all 4 parks. 7:40-7:45 is the avg time they'll let you in with MK, 7:45 was when we've been let in for Epcot and AK, and I think it was either 7:50 or 7:55 when we got in for DHS as the walk to H&V is quite short.

We have always gotten in the parks 15-minutes early with an 8 am ADR. They want to make sure you are at the restaurant at 8 am, so they give you "walk time" from the gate to restaurant. Just look for the special ADR/tour entrance gate at each park. I enjoy being in the park with hardly anyone else, great for photos...see the background of the photo...no extra people. You'll enjoy walking into AK very peaceful in the morning.
