A couple of queries re shows & car parking

There's no hard and fast rule on what time of day the parking booths are unattended, AFAIK. Last night at about 7:30 they were unattended when we drove into the TTC, 2.5 hours before closing. In the past we've seen the booths attended as late as an hour before closing and as early as about four...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Heading in later today... is Splash reopening today on schedule, despite the still-visible scaffolding?

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

Watched Harmonious twice this week. First time I thought it was pretty bad, second I thought it was brilliant. It's sadly all about viewing spot. I think if you're not face-on to the Stargate you're not going to like this show. The other issue with the first viewing was that I was apparently in...

Where is your Disney secret spot?

On a DHS or Epcot day I like to grab an early afternoon Skyliner ride to Caribbean for a quiet cocktail to go from Banana Cabana, which I drink while strolling around the beach area there. Always quiet during the day. Really peaceful

    Crowds - Is this normal!?

DHS today felt as busy and crowded as I've ever seen it, equal to a mid summer or holiday crowd level... It wasn't fun

UK based annual passholders park reservation issue

    Parking without theme park reservation

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. Do you need a theme park reservation to park? Scenario is I have a reservation at Epcot, but wish to park at DHS and walk to IG, then park hop to DHS to end the day. The old way I'd do this is to park at DHS, but is that still cool...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

Studio 1 is fine, even if it's a bit uninspiring as theming goes, but problematically, it's a serious bottleneck. For private events they often open the backstage path between the side of S1 and the Cinemagique theatre. If they could theme this area even slightly, and do the same for the...

Big air travel shake-up for UK visitors flying to Orlando

No. The US don't require it. The destination country might, though.

Big air travel shake-up for UK visitors flying to Orlando

This will depend where you're travelling back to in Europe. If it's the UK, you need to take a test on the day you land back, or on either of the following two days. It can be a Lateral Flow, but it must've been purchased privately, not a free NHS one. Unlike your entry test for the US, it...

    New annual pass price bridging

So the last couple of times buying an annual pass, I've done so by buying base tickets and then upgrading via price bridging at the Disney Springs ticket center. Is this still an available option with the new passes? This seems like an even more sensible option than ever as having the base...

News 'Disney Enchantment' coming to Magic Kingdom October 1 2021

Not watching the videos. They never do the shows justice. But did anyone who was actually there in person at MK last night actually like it? (Just skimming the last few pages, it looks like all the opinions are based on a stream)

Paris and Nice or Paris and Disneyland...

I think all the other posters have given great input, although at the end of the day it's all going to depend on your preferences. Disneyland Paris is the most beautiful castle park there is, and it has the best Space Mountain, Big Thunder and OG Pirates. And by the time you visit there'll be...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

We've used those chargers many times. It's true there are only four posts, but that has been enough for the number of EVs that tend to use them for the last few years. Of course, they'll need to add more relatively soon. And add superchargers. They're only 7kw so to get a full charge in my...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

    Annual pass availability

I'm not sure if new APs are for sale at present, but as for your second question, yes, you can bridge the gap in price from a regular ticket to an AP, but only if your original ticket has a face value printed on it. Tickets that are sold as part of a package deal do not qualify as they don’t...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

As long as you have some epic thermals, January is a great time to visit DLP. The low crowds (especially on weekdays) are welcome, and the park looks so stunning in the winter sun. But yes, pack as if you're heading skiing!
