    Preach! Totally agree.

    Confirmed Closing Date for Maelstrom?

I wish I'd known that during our last trip, we were riding it for the last time. Maelstrom is a classic, and will be missed. I'm glad I snagged one of the limited edition t-shirts while they were available. Probably an unpopular opinion here, but I do not like Frozen; I just don't get the...

    Comparing Sept/Oct/Nov

How fun it is to see such different perspectives on the forums! Being a Texan, the September weather in Florida is simply delightful compared to what it is back home. In 2011, we left Texas for DisneyWorld during a 45-day over-100-degree marathon drought (actually, zero rain that whole time...

    BBQ at Disney

Fellow Texan here... howdy. Oh man... how I long for a Dr. Pepper. I am on a preventative medication for migraines, and one of the side effects is that carbonated drinks taste horrrrrrible. I haven't had a Dr. Pepper since April. I miss it so much. Sorry for the sidetrack... it's just rare...

    BBQ at Disney

I have never tried the ribs at Flame Tree, but the chicken is outstanding! I've had several half chicken meals on Disney property, and none even come close to the half chicken at Flame Tree. It is simply out of this world. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The rub they use is...

Unmagical Day at the Magic Kingdom

I bet you $$$, if the castle's paint job (which was being worked on at the time of this post, IIRC) was less-than-impressive, we would have seen it listed under her lengthy "not very magical" list. What a chore of a woman. You know, I'm feeling inspired. Not going to spoil anything, but I...

What was your reply? "Oh, don't be silly, @zurgandfriend Jr.... these kids obviously don't have parents. They have some older friends they live with..."

Worst people to be in line next to?

Agreed. Heck, the memories I have from my family's trip to WDW when I was 12 are super vague at this point. But any younger than 6 is too young, IMHO. Being in line next to whiny and/or bratty kids is the WORRRRST.

Unmagical Day at the Magic Kingdom

Excuuuuuse ME! You are speaking of ROYALTY!! Show some respect! Queen of Sheba and Little Lord Fauntleroy have the pleasure of being the offspring of Her Royal Highness KatieBug the Great. King Beowulf would be offended you spake of his lady in such a foul manner. You should be ashamed...

Unmagical Day at the Magic Kingdom

Most trolls enjoy the fruits of their labor by diving into the comments head first and stirring the pot. If she is a troll, she is one of the very few I have seen who have just dropped in one message and left. I think the reality is, she is just an entitled brat who thought she might garner...

Unmagical Day at the Magic Kingdom

I've only gotten through the first few pages and had to take a break because I was laughing so hard. Oh man, comedy gold is found here. I did find her other thread on that other site, and I believe the origin of her calling her kids prince & princesses began when she visited Cinderella's...

    Frozen ride replacing Maelstrom?

Funny you should mention that. I saw it hinted on another thread from a reliable source that Great Movie Ride is going away and being replaced by something "Very Cool" which I assumed was a Frozen ride. Which, if true, sucks for Frozen to come in and slap down two classics.

I can walk faster than you in the line so...

I don't have kids of my own just yet, but I do have nieces and nephews that I love as if they were my own kids. Putting myself into this situation as things are right now, and this had happened to one of my nieces in front of me... well, I've thought long and hard about how I would react. My...

I can walk faster than you in the line so...

In my opinion, I hope TDO implements the line-cutting policy from the Frozen M&G/Princess Fairy Tale Hall everywhere, in every queue all over WDW. Please note: this specifically references one person holding a place in queue for an entire party, not the random bathroom emergency situations...

I can walk faster than you in the line so...

Yeah, and in the OP's situation... wow. Immature doesn't even begin to describe that "adult". That's some flat out rude and words-I-won't-say-on-a-Disney-board behavior right there. Poor kid.

I can walk faster than you in the line so...

I see; I misunderstood. Sorry about that. I thought you were saying you can just leave the queue and come back in whenever you please. Yeah, if people are polite, and have a valid reason, sure, I can let them pass. One thing I WON'T tolerate, is a huge group of people rejoining one...

I can walk faster than you in the line so...

If you left the queue, and you try to skip me, it's my prerogative to block you or let you by. When I say "Sorry, no can do.", and you politely say "Oh man, my kid had to use the bathroom; my wife is going to wonder where we are. Can't you let me by please?" Sure! Totally excusable. Kids...

I can walk faster than you in the line so...

From your post history in this thread, it seems like you're the one getting your panties getting in a bunch. I wholeheartedly agree with @G00fyDad & @unkadug that your idea of "common and normal" queue etiquette is just inconsiderate behavior; to leave the queue and rejoin whenever you feel...

I can walk faster than you in the line so...

In my opinion, cutting is never okay. I'll politely block you if you try to pull a "excuse me, my place is up there". Now, understanding kids have bathroom emergencies from time to time, I will say this... if I saw you pass by the opposite way beforehand with a little kid in tow, and then you...
