meh, i live on long island. i don't think the food is that overpriced, but some locations (le cellier, from what i've heard) are not really worth the money. i just booked a hotel for my dh who is going on a business trip. it's a standard room at a hilton inn in nanuet - $151/night with a AAA...

if you can get a decent room discount, it's usually cheaper that way than to take advantage of the free dining. it's important to work it all out.

right, but all three threads you started show up within a couple of lines of each other. people will answer if they want to and won't if they don't want to. starting multiple identical threads won't change that.

when you first book the reservation, it has the option to add your flight info and ground transport... i can't imagine why it's available there but not available to be added on post-reservation like it used to be. o_O

i always wear well broken-in cross trainers (my supportive sneaker of choice) if i'll be walking a lot. i agree with keeping feet cool, but flip flops in the parks just seem like a bad idea to me. i guess it works for some people, but even if they're comfortable i don't know how supportive...
