Correct Mary Poppins closed on march 3rd of this year, and aladdin begins previews in february!

Beauty and the Beast premiered at the Palace Theater in 1994, back when disney didn't "own" the New Amsterdam theater. It then moved to the Lunt Fontanne theater to make way for Aida.

Ok this is absolute speculation but I have a theory. So as of now all we know is that frozen is coming to broadway. That's it. We also know that Aladdin is coming to broadway, at the New Amsterdam theater which is owned by Disney. Since they aren't sure how well Aladdin will do, and disney does...
