I rode SE last week and the burning smell definitely is back. (Yay!)

Yea! Now if they could only get the horse & carriage animation that use to be in the Rome section back (But, I'm asking too much as I recall reading they removed it.)

I haven't seen anywhere on here discussing this but the Spice Road restaurant is open and its quite beautiful, here is the Menu.

Yes most definitely, first thing I said to my friend before turning the corner to the burning library scene was I thought the ride was on fire and we were going to die lol I had never ridden it before.

I bet he isn't wrong, the view is beautiful though and the restaurant is lovely to look at. I'd imagine having a glass of wine and watching illuminations would be worth the price alone in my book.

Indeed. Not sure if that type of review trends how Spice will do from 11am to 7pm though, that outdoor seating area is going to be nasty hot in the warm months during the day for underwhelming over priced small portions.
At least the indoor restaurant is beautiful and plenty of windows. The food they can fix if need be.

On that note, anybody have any word on how Tutto Gusto is performing in Italy, Spice seemed to be an imagineer branch from that newer venue.

I don't think it was there. The ride did seem spiffed up more than when I last rode it about one year ago.

It was removed after the Siemens Sponsorship and the story was changed. Yet it really brought a little life to the scene as the simple animation create depth when it would pass by and then go down the street..

Yankee trader is beginning to get Haunted Mansion stuff everywhere

They've had some Haunted Mansion stuff for at least a few months now in that same spot to the left when you come in from the door on the HM side. But it looks like they're finally adding the new(er) special collection of items like the throw, coasters, frame, etc. that were previously only available in the Christmas shop (for no logical reason whatsoever.) At least it makes sense to look for those items NEAR the attraction, not off in the back corner of the Christmas shop!
