    If You Had Too...

Probably either on Soarin', at the orange groves part (of course), or ANYWHERE during POTC, except for where they chant "We wants the redhead!" Got stuck on POTC at that part one year for a LONG time and it still haunts me to this day! LOL :p

    Downtown Disney appreciation

DTD is definitely a must for us. We actually visit it first every trip (since we drive down from Canada and usually arrive in the afternoon) and leave the MK for our first full day down there. It's nice to check into the Pop, put our stuff in our room and take a quick walk around the resort to...

    First Thing You Think Of

Spring Break (since I've only been during) and vacation from work/life!!!

    Disney's Time Machine.

I'm like you, hatter - didn't get the chance to visit until rather recently and later in my life (2005), but if I had to choose based upon what I've seen or read about the parks back in the day, I think I would have to go with the late 70's/early 80's or the mid 90's. Based upon what I've heard...

    Full Planning Mode .... when?!?!?!

As strange as this is going to sound, we never really kick into full planning mode. Don't get me wrong...we usually know a good 2 years out that we are going to be returning to WDW again (except for this next trip, which is 806 days away :(), and usually always make a room-only reservation...

    Full Planning Mode .... when?!?!?!

I only WISH we were 299 days away!! As sad as this is to probably say out loud, we are 806 days away. :( Yes, I start the countdown WAY out!

What will merchandise will you buy your next trip?

Probably my usual...a few t-shirts and then a bunch of other Disney-related stuff that I probably don't really need and is way too expensive but that I MUST have because it's from WDW!!! ;) No, seriously...I always try to get a shirt that says something about WDW and Spring Break with the year...

Things to do around the Disney/Universal area?

We drive down from Canada and spend 10 days at WDW, so we usually venture off-property one day in the middle of the vacation to break things up a bit and so that we can see more of what Florida has to offer. We've driven to the Gulf coast one trip, to the Siesta Keys area, which I highly...

    Four Parks.One World.But What World.?

What makes it SO different from every other theme park to me - the ambience. No other theme park seems to touch peoples lives in such a way as WDW does. Whether its a certain smell that you smell when you are back home that instantly reminds you of being on a certain ride or in a certain area of...

    Favorite park close experience?

I WISH I could make it to park closing once while down there! It's funny...I've always been a total night owl at home (as evident by my activity on the forums here - usually ALWAYS between the 2-4am hours :)), but I can't seem to make it to midnight while on vacation in WDW. I know being out in...

Ghirardelli, hands down. Can almost taste it as I am typing this! Yummmmm!!!

Best place to eat in a resort or Downtown Disney

I second THIS!!! Earl of Sandwich was actually way better than I thought it was going to be when we tried it last trip, and the price was quite reasonable. And Ghirardelli's is Heaven on Earth! We made a few trips back there during our 10 day stay. A bit pricey, but definitely well worth it! :)

    finally got a pin...

We just got one in the mail last week too, but once again, it came in my mother-in-law's name. It seems like every 2-3 years we get one sent to our address, but with her name on it. Strange because we live in Canada and she lives across the border in Michigan. Only thing I can think of is that...

"Labeled" on our way to WDW

Sounds like a legit guys trip to me. I would totally go with my best bud (who actually is the one responsible for getting me hooked on WDW) if we both had the time and money because I know we would have a blast. I have been 4 times, all with my wife and kids, but I think a guy trip could be fun...

Does The Internet Take Away Some Of The Mystique?

I am like some of the others who have already answered and just choose not to watch any ride-related videos. I did watch a few before our first and second trip, just to see what we had to look forward to. They got me excited, but watching them online can NEVER compete to experiencing them in the...

How to find a travel agent?

We've always used CAA up here to book our trips. Our TA is very friendly and accommodating, although at times it seems like she is picking my brain more about my WDW knowledge than vice versa. :p But we've never had any problems booking it through her and we get the little AAA extras that come...

Do you have a "Park Order"?

We always drive down and arrive at our resort (Pop) around 1pm or so on a Saturday, so we always tend to head to DTD for the rest of that first day before returning to Pop to get a good night's sleep. The next day, our first full day, is always spent entirely at the MK. We usually end visiting...
