Things people do at WDW that really anger me

*People who help pass long wait times by making conversation *CM's who put in long hours in crazy heat to make my vacation special *People who treat CM's with respect *CM's who go out of their way to assist guests *People who give away FP's when they're not going to use them...

    Where In The World (WDW)?

Try these - http://allears.net/tp/mk/mk_char.htm http://allears.net/tp/ep/ep_char.htm Failing that, you can always ask a CM who can get on their radio or give you a phone number to find out when and where a character will appear.

How do you pass the time on your way to Disney?

I'd go yearly if it were possible. However our next trip in June is 13 days in WDW, 4 days in Boston and 4 days in Las Vegas for a wedding - and for the four of us is costing a smidge under $20,000. Sooooo just being able to go every 7 or 8 years is a treat I am really grateful for. :shrug...

    British Invasion

Steve Soares has a really handy website where he lists all the dates and times for WDW entertainment, eg British Invasion, Off Kilter, DeVine etc. It's worth checking out - http://wdwent.com/

How do you pass the time on your way to Disney?

What can I say....It's an obsession! We usually have 7 or 8 years between trips so to make all the travel worthwhile we stay for 2 weeks in WDW then visit family in Boston. I haven't really been tempted by Tokyo or Hong Kong yet, WDW was my first entry into the Disney realm and it has my...

How do you pass the time on your way to Disney?

1 hour drive to the airport - Bounce up and down, giggle, cheer. 14.5 hour flight from Sydney to LA - Drug the kidlets, read, listen to ipod, sudoku, shift around uncomfortably, nap for 5 minutes. 5.5 hour flight from LA to Orlando - Play DS, snack, play card games with kids. DME to...

    Best Jobs in Disney

Ugly stepsister:ROFLOL: Seriously though, if Disney ever puts Australia into AK or WS I would looove to be a cultural guide or hell, even a boomerang salesperson.

    How many hours for IOA

Thanks so much all. The advice about the wet rides last and checking out citywalk is really helpful. I'm thinking have the car pick us up at 4pm and we'll have plenty of time to get back to the Poly for early dinner. Now all I have to do is wait.... Hurry up June!

    How many hours for IOA

I'm hoping some of you more Universal-ly experienced folk can help me out with this one. I've allotted 1 day out of our trip for IOA so my youngest can get her fill of HP. We're booking a town car to get us there for park opening and will have Universal Plus passes so lose a minimum of time in...

    Best Princess Meal

If you decide on CRT, get ready to book right on the 180 day mark. ADR's go within the first hour they become available most days.

    current promotion at restaurant.com

This is a great tip and we love HOB. Unfortunately, it seems to be restricted to US residents . Oh well, I hope others get some use from it.

How do large families afford a day in Disney!!

Mmhmm, precisely. The only tip regarding saving money I have to offer is to research ad nauseum. Using a travel agent; reading lists of fun freebies; costing out everything in advance to see what works for your family - these are all tips I've picked up from websites like this one and...

    Dining Plan Exclusions?

Fabulous! Thanks so much for the responses. We've (I've) avoided non-Disney restaurants when making ADR's so that won't be a problem and I kind of like the shared appetizer/dessert idea. It's just good to know that we can order off the menu knowing it's all paid for (except tips).

    Dining Plan Exclusions?

We will be on the Deluxe DDP this June and before I get my DH hyped over all the surf & turf he can handle, I wanted to check if any meals are excluded from the plan. I know the kitchen sink at Beaches & Cream isn't on it, are there any others that don't count. Also what is the policy for meals...

    Resort renovations

I've not heard about Toy Story themed rooms but perhaps she meant the Art of Animation resort which will have family suites themed to Lion King, Cars, Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo.

    Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Question

I'm not sure when your friends are going but I have 8:05am ADR's for Crystal Palace in June on a non-EMH morning. Cindy's is probably open too, but they might have a hard time getting an ADR for that. I couldn't say whether any CS or QS locations would be open, possibly Main Street...

    Celebrities at Disney....

Mariah Carey (and sizable entourage) was staying at the Beach Club while we were there in 2003. We spotted one of her bodyguards a few times in the concierge lounge.

    New Fantasyland details/concept drawings!

I hope I haven't missed this but is there a timeline for the closure of SWSA? We'll be there mid June and I'd like to warn the kids if we'll miss it, since my eldest loves it.
