That New Poppins Song You’ll Hear in Every Park Show From Now On

Ah that’s cool, I’m admittedly not too familiar with the books so it’s good to know that’s par for the course. Still hoping this is more than just a solid nostalgia play and actually offers enough originality to hold it’s own years from now! Fingers crossed.

That New Poppins Song You’ll Hear in Every Park Show From Now On

So I really love the new soundtrack. Tonally it’s spot on. My fear with this movie is that it’ll have Force Awakens syndrome. In that it’s essentially a remake disguised as a sequel, hitting all the same notes as the original just slightly tweaked. I got that feeling when listening to...

That New Poppins Song You’ll Hear in Every Park Show From Now On

Or they just thought it looked cool in a semi-fantasy world where people jump into cartoons, launch into highly choreographed song and dance routines for seemingly no reason, and there are nannys capable of flying around on umbrellas and other inexplicable magic.

That New Poppins Song You’ll Hear in Every Park Show From Now On

Good stuff... there's also a second slower song out called "The Place Where Lost Things Go." I'm rooting for them on this, hope they hit it out of the park. Looking promising so far!

News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

Weird. Where did the ‘complex’ mechanism rumor even come from?!

News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

Based on the MC description I’m thinking it’ll be fountain like with the ‘tears’ falling out into a drain of some kind and then cycled back up. Interested to see it in action and equally as interested in whether it will work longterm! Sounds neat though.

EPCOT; Tutto Italia or San Angel Inn?

None of the restaurants at Epcot are particularly good when compared to legit restaurants you can access in any real city (or a few minutes away at Disney Springs even). It's all basically on the same level as all-inclusive cruise food IMO. Therefore you judge it by the atmosphere, not the...

What WDW does worse than the DLR

Lol, the LA Zoo is a pretty sad zoo. Nice place to walk around if the weather is nice, but for a zoo, even the tiny Santa Barbara Zoo has it beat.

    New Fastpass Scanners

Maybe true, but the parks were also wayyyyy less crowded too and AP culture wasn’t a thing. Don’t discount those important variables.

What WDW does worse than the DLR

Some people here are worth having nice rational conversations with, others are not. I appreciate the ones who identify these traits early on. So thank you for that.

What DLR does worse than WDW

Um... have you ever traveled to the Magic Kingdom by car?

What WDW does worse than the DLR

Yeah..it's used very lightly out here beyond Grand Californian, which feels a lot like a WDW resort. Whereas out in Florida, you have properties like the ones below... Half the fun for me (even with kids!) when visiting WDW is resort hopping. The WDW resorts are theme park-like...

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Going to be a real big bummer if WDI cranks out a lame Spidey attraction after what Universal did with the material at IOA in 1999. 20 years later, that is still one of the best attractions in the world and continues to rival anything Disney has built at any park before or since. The...

What WDW does worse than the DLR

That's great...but I was replying to @Phrubruh in a thread about what WDW does worse than DL. :P

What WDW does worse than the DLR

Are you saying there is minimal theming in the hotels at WDW or that you think they don’t do minimal theming as well as DL? If the former, I’m a bit perplexed at the statement! If the latter, I’m not quite sure why you’d want minimal theming at a theme park resort... so either way I’m confused!

What WDW does worse than the DLR

That theme parks are comprised of beautiful, oftentimes jaw-dropping man/woman-made works of art that simulate real life, but in extraordinary ways? If that’s your point, then sure. Not sure how you net out at it being soulless though.

What WDW does worse than the DLR

As opposed to artificial mountains, bodies of water, animals, presidents, space ships, and castles? What exactly is your point? We’re talking about theme parks, not national parks.
