Lost our free dining :( How much it really to add it back?

I use a TA now too. We had booked rooms at AS Movies for my family and in-laws. Then in-laws needed to cancel and a girlfriend wanted to come. WDW was supposed to change in-laws reservation to girlfiends name. Was told everything was fine. When I called to secure ME 2 weeks before I found out...

    August 2012 Roll Call!!

No I haven't been to BB&B. I live near a Christmas Tree Shop and got most of my travel stuff there, including small sunblocks so we can head straight to pool after check-in. Our flight doesn't land until 3:30pm so we are gonna hit the pool instead of park on day 1

    Thats it..I've reached the point...

I hear ya. We are paid in full and have airfares taken care of too, plus all dining reservations are made. I have 6 weeks to go and I'm already planning what to pack. I was putting laundry away yesterday and was making mental notes on shirts I want to pack for myself and clothes I want to pack...

Wilderness Lodge - 'Woodland' or 'Courtyard' view?

I've been following your threads. I know your issues. Honestly you'll be fine with either. We stayed there 2ce, once with each view. The woods views are more quiet and peaceful & if really you are only going to be in room to sleep and for afternoon breaks, take the woods. The running water from...

First Trip to WDW! Single parent with 5 year old.

If you go over your credits you just pay for the meals on your own. My recommendation is pay for cheaper meals and use DDP on the more expensive 2 credit meals.

    Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast

We booked dinner at 180 +10. We like to do this on our last night so I like the 180+ rule, it gives us a better shot at the time we want. My understanding is that the breakfast is the hardest to get so if you get shut out try the lunch or dinner.

What CS meals are big enough to split?

It really just depends on your appetites. I shared many meals with my 2 1/2 year old in 2009. But never shared meals with another adult.

    Advice on when to travel

I would NEVER recommend Christmas week. It's so freakin crowded. I have cousins that are teachers that are trying Feb vacation this year. It'll be busy but nearly as busy as Christmas week. You say Patriot's Day week so guessing you are from Mass. I would only go that week if Easter is NO...

    Restaurants for Large Parties

DO NOT PANIC. We traveled with 15 a few years back. We expected to be split up and when I heard split up I was thinking we would be a opposite ends of restaurants, not the case. At Ohana, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, Cinderella's Table we were all seated together. At Liberty Tree...

Is there a "bad" WDW resort?

It's all a matter of opinion. While most people love YC/BC DH and I did not. Our room was the last in the wing, so it was a LONG walk to any kind of food/drink. For the $ we paid we expected some convienence, which for food and drink was not. & I'm prob one of the only people on the planet that...

    Resort advice!

My oldest is 8 he still has some memmories of Wilderness Lodge when he was 2 1/2. He remembers that it was a "log hotel" and that the room had a balcony. I think it's a great place for kids. It's close to MK but not as busy as the monorail resorts. It does have a great pool too.

Le Cellier was the first place I thought of, so I'm going with that. We love the food. I'm almost drooling thinking about the pretzel bread, cheese soup and chocolate mouss,. not to mention the steaks. HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
