    EPCOT or Hollywood Studios?

I'd do Epcot. It's got way more to offer people as far as numbers of attractions go, plus it's more spacious so it won't feel as crowded. DHS is small, cramped, difficult to navigate for a novice (and thus harder to keep a group together), and doesn't have that many attractions to spread the...

Rock n Roller Coaster refurb--has the inevitable arrived?

At least for Millionaire and Idol they used empty buildings instead of destroying a great attraction....

87 Photo's of my 1987 WDW 15th Year Celebration Vacation

Was that the promotion that they gave away prizes ever 15 seconds for the 15th anniversary? Maybe that was DL's 15th, but I think it was WDW....

    Where are the gulls?

I think I read somewhere that Disney plays recordings of birds in distress to discourage other birds from flying near the parks. I can't for the life of me remember where I read that though.

Rumor - Le Cellier going Signature

I did it online. First attempt for that particular day (though it was completely booked on the 4th and the 2nd).

Walt Disney World to build 2,000-room Hotel: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

As far as acronyms go, my first thought was AoA - I see no problem in using a lowercase letter. Most people already do it when talking about things like PotC and UoE....

Rumor - Le Cellier going Signature

Got it for 8:55 pm. :D Thank God someone cancelled. This just goes to show you though, it's always worth a shot to see if you get lucky!

Rumor - Le Cellier going Signature

Just booked Le Cellier, tonight, for July 3. That's what - 49 days out, if my math is right? Not bad, I say! And it only took me 15 trips to do it!

    Magic Kingdon toll plaza

I hate it and love it at the same time. I ask for elaboration in the hope that one day, he'll actually give in and elaborate.

Well now...care to elaborate on that, Martin?

    These are the same right?

This. The dinosaurs from the '64 Fair are now in the "Primeval World" section of the Grand Canyon Diorama on the Disneyland Railroad. New dinosaur AAs were created for the Universe of Energy's 1982 opening. They were repainted for the 1996 refurb because scientists somehow found out what a...

Imagineers at future MI coaster building.

I'm fairly certain that the only CMs who wear Sorcerer Mickey nametags are members of WDI. ETA: I too read that Soundstage 1 won't be Wicket's Warehouse this year, and that SWW merch will be sold in the AFI Showcase. This report, together with the WDI sighting and greenlighting of Monsters...

    Celebrity Sightings

June 2008, Magic Kingdom. One night I was walking in front of the Crystal Palace/Casey's Corner to get to Tomorrowland and this huge dude with long hair was walking rather slowly in front of me. Turns out it was Peter Mayhew, who was in town for Star Wars Weekends. Right after I passed him...

    Lunch with an Imagineer

I did it a few years ago, and it was fantastic. You really do get to ask pretty much anything you want, considering the small number of people there. My Imagineer was Alex Caruthers, MK art director...turns out that he's single-handedly responsible for the statue of Mr. Toad in the HM pet...

If Walt were alive, what ride or attraction would impress him the most?

One of my favorite Marty Sklar quotes: "I think that if Walt were to see Disney World today, he'd look right at me and say, 'What took you so long?!'"

Next-Gen queue testing at the Haunted Mansion

Technically, Potato Head is interactive, but I know what you're going after. Nevertheless, where in the queue would they put anything else? They've filled that room with anything and everything, it seems.

Little Mermaid Track Layout (not a question)

Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that they were doing a living character version of Sebastian for the queue, similar to what they have with Crush. That would have to be indoors.

Next-Gen queue testing at the Haunted Mansion

Yep, that was it. And the CMs manning the entrance were very strict about who they let in too. For instance, they wouldn't let me in to go look for something in Rock Around the Shop, even when I told them that's all I was going to do.
