Chef's de France: Have I made a mistake?

I have eaten there numerous times on trips to Disney World. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. I can't see there being any trouble with your children. There is another French restaurant upstairs called Bistro de Paris. This establishment is very fancy and "uptight". Perhaps that is the...

    Epcot Japan Addition

This stand looks very nice. I'm excited for it. Does anyone happen to know whether or not the items will be available on the Dining Plan? I know that some of these snack places are available on it, but some aren't...

Mid-May or First week in June?

Definately mid-May. Heres why: 1) The kids are still in school. 2) The weather is warm, but not as hot as June 3) You can sometimes catch a deal in Mid-May. Whether its free food or discounted hotel prices, Disney normally is offering some nice deals this time of year.

Is Festival of the Lion King good?

Ditto. Its almost a crime to go to Animal Kingdom and not see Festival of the Lion King.

How to cope with Post-Disney World trip blues?

Planning a new trip is always a good way to cope. Also, look back on the photos that you took from the trip before. Make a slideshow on a DVD, and have a night where you get together with your family and re-live your memories. Take a little time to soak in the trip you went on, and THEN make...

    French Quarter Jester

I am fairly certain that the jester balances on it while he juggles or does some other stunt. I'm not 100% sure, but that would be my guess.

is guest patience at WDW getting worse

Agreed. The world just doesn't want to wait for anything, and that spills over to Disney World. However, I just don't let it bother me. As some people have stated before, I just choose not to let unhappy people ruin my vacation.

    Skyway Station Area Redesign

I completely agree. Its really awesome that Disney is expanding and doing some new things, but it kind of takes away some of the appeal if big chunks of the park are surrounded by refurb walls. But hopefully soon we will be able to experience this stuff. :)

    Peter Pan

Small World does have a higher capacity, but Peter Pan is definately more popular. I'm not so sure I would call Small World "Very popular with guests". Don't get me wrong, its a classic, but I don't see people running to Small World once the park opens or hear people saying, "If I hit one ride...

    Storybook Circus Discussion

I really dont think that the storybook circus land looks that bad. I mean, it could be a really fun area. However, I am just slightly horrified that it might resemble Chester & Hesters Dinorama. That is a circus-themed area gone bad. I sincerely hope that this "Dumbo Area" is a little more...

New Orleans Woman Arrested At Magic Kingdom For Child Abuse

I just want to give a big thank you to the witnesses who stepped up and alerted authorities. Punching a child is about as low as it gets, no matter how old they are. But to think that a mother could punch a little one year old is deplorable. Lets hope this mother learned her lesson and treats...

Are crowds really that bad at Easter?

RULE: There is never a time that you shouldn't go to Disney World. Easter is almost an exception...

    Peter Pan

The Peter Pan ride is significantly more popular, IMO, then Small World. They were able to close Small World for extended periods of time because no one REALLY cared that much. Closing Pan would be a big blow to the current Fantasyland...

    One More Time Concerning Mugs

Oh man... the mugs look awful... Don't you miss the days when they actually had "resort mugs". You know, the ones that actually had the name of your resort on the mug? Those were the days...

How could Disney Enhance the Bus Ride experience

I really dont think theres all that much that Disney can do to enhance the bus experience. But some of the ideas that were mentioned before could be plausible. 1) TVs on the bus - Yes this would be an expensive upgrade, but it could be fun. Sit back, enjoy free transportation to a magical...

    Spectromagic performing before dark

I cant ever remember the parade being run when it is light outside. That would take away from the whole effect of the show. Maybe there was some sort of difficulty, or a special event that forced them to start the parade with a little sunset....

    Peter Pan

I completelty agree. I actually think that the entire Fantasyland expansion will take alot of pressure off of the other rides in Fantasyland. Maybe then, the execs at Disney may take a gamble and refurb the entire Peter Pan ride. Who knows tho? The ride, as many have said, is still very popular...

    For the Veteran Disney Guests?

Well you know about pin trading, but getting into it is something else entirely. I find that being a pin trader makes each vacation new and exciting. Not only do you get to enjoy the attractions, you get excited when you see cast members who wear pin lanyards. I would seriously suggest that you...
