I guess I'll take everyone's word that it will be a clone of DCA's attraction. But I don't understand the reason behind giving it a different name. Virtually every other cloned attraction has the same name as the original. And this seems to go against the idea of "Disney Parks" branding and...

The DCA version is still being called The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. So I'm wondering why the MK attraction is getting a different name. Is it going to be a different (ie, shortened) version of DCA's ride? Or will it be something completely new?

Lucky the Dinosaur. Muppet Mobile Labs. They show up for a few weeks, then get shipped off. Even Remy was originally scheduled to appear at Les Chefs de France for only 5 weeks or so, but they've extended his stay until at least March. :)

The last I heard, Remy hasn't been shipped anywhere. He still performs daily at Les Chefs de France. But I get what you're saying. :wave:

According to Jim Hill, if you choose to believe him, there's a third-hand report (supposedly started by Marc Davis himself) that the Hat Box Ghost was stripped for parts and put inside the Sam the Eagle animatronic in "America Sings." The parts may now be inside one of the animatronics in Splash...

I don't think that you missed it. You just mislabeled it. The link that you list as: Liberty Tree Tavern: Complete exterior facade refurb Is actually for Peter Pan's Flight. At least, that's what the description on page 2 of the document says. :)

I agree about the citrus swirls being disgusting now. But I bought one for the Orange Bird a little over a year ago and he seemed to enjoy it. Sadly, the CM working the counter had no idea who he was, and she had no real interest when I tried to explain. A shame.

Luckily the petition is only for DL and not for MK. But a Pacific island (even one that moves, apparently) doesn't make sense for TSI in either park. About the only place it would make sense is in Adventureland.

It should be pointed out that Al's only talking about the budget for the dark ride being "slashed and burned." He makes no mention of Pixie Hollow as a whole being cut.
