Alien Swirling Saucers rider experience and comments

A glorified Teacups...........really? And all of these Fastpasses have been gone. All that money and time, and one of the anchor attractions is a glorified teacups:mad:

    Fastpass Plus needs tweaking?

Exactly! Omnimover attractions are crowd eaters by nature. Why clutter up and back up the lines for Fastpass??? I can see why the attractions that had traditional waits of over an hour or more, but Omnimovers???

    Fastpass Plus needs tweaking?

I am not trying to start a flaming war, but do you think it may be a matter of time before Disney starts having customers pay additional for the privilege of using Fastpass Plus? It seems that it is ripe for becoming a premium service, andI think it's a matter of time. I mean, the parks have...

    Resort Parking Charges

Of course parking lots are not free to build, but I think you missed the point of what I was saying, either intentionally or unintentionally. We agree that the decision to charge for parking is Disney's, but my point is based on the assertion that this is the "industry standard." That...

Just Returned from a 7 Day Trip to The World...

It was for dramatic purposes, only. This was more a post for discussion than an actual opinion on the state of ECV usage in WDW.

    Fastpass Plus needs tweaking?

Serves me right for going in mid/late June lol

    How is resort parking billed?

It's Disney magic. Every morning you wake up, open your My Disney Experience App, check your resort bill and BRrrrringggg....Like disney Magic, new resort charges appear  Each night you're there, they add another night's charges, and like others have said, the morning of your departure...

    Fastpass Plus needs tweaking?

I saw major lines at POTC and Haunted Mansion unlike what I have seen during previous visits. I agree about EPCOT. Spaceship Earth had waits of 55 minutes lol. This was a walk on whenever attraction before FastPass, and with this new Judy Dench version.....:grumpy:

    Resort Parking Charges

Not to mention, you don't have to walk 6 miles back to your hotel room after you get off of the bus, after walking 5 miles through the parks all day. You just walk 200 feet to an elevator, then 60 feet to your room, which is much more appointed and in line with "Industry Standards." Good point!

    Resort Parking Charges

The most effective way to do this is to provide experiences so superior to Universal that no one staying on Disney property will consider leaving. Used to be that way, not so much anymore. So exactly what maintenance on that 6 ft by 10ft space needed to be done when I left? Also, how on earth...

    Fastpass Plus needs tweaking?

Ok, I have to say that in the case of some attractions, I believe that Fastpass Plus is just not meant for the ride type or WDW needs to address the way Fastpass Plus is employed. In regards to attractions with double or multiple loading capabilities (Big Thunder, Space Mountain, Splash...

    Resort Parking Charges

I enjoy the banter, and you are a fitting opponent, but I guess all those Texas, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Ohio, etc cars that were driving north on I-75 with the little stick figure Disney families on the back windows are rentals? OK. You did kind of make me feel bad to know that my car...

    Resort Parking Charges

With all due respect, DME is a service. People need transportation from the airport to resorts. The cost of DME is rolled into resort nightly costs. Disney provides transportation to the resort. That is a service. Customer has need, business meets need; therefore, service provided. Just because...

    Resort Parking Charges

Well this outsider says your insiders are wrong, and if that was Disney's plan, they're morons. I live 10 hours away. Driving cost me about 300 bucks, round trip. Flights for my family would have cost 1000 dollars, minimum. So, a 13 dollar a night fee (Amounting to 78 dollars) will make me...

    Resort Parking Charges

14.99 for a school cafeteria hamburger and fries, and an additional 4 bucks for a soft drink in any Disney owned QS resort food court? You think they're not evenly dragging revenue across the spectrum? Or how about this? Maybe they decided the cost of Disney's Magical Express is too great. Why...

    Resort Parking Charges

I disagree. Providing transportation to the parks, DME, are aimed at keeping you on property. If someone goes to WDW with the intent of going to Universal, Sea World, Medieval Nights, Etc, 13 dollars a night will NOT keep them from leaving property or force them to fly and keep them on property...
