    Jiko for me.

    2 Credit Restaurants at WDW.

Jiko would be my first suggestion, but I see others have said you've been there. So, my suggestions would be GF-based, Citricos and Narcoosee's.

Narcoossee's x California Grill x Jiko plus DDP question

I don't even remember what I had, but Jiko just blew me away. I really liked Boma, enough to make us go back to it on consecutive trips. But, Jiko just really hit me. It was one of those meals where the wife and I talked about "how good the food is" from appetizer to the time the check came...

    Please review final ADR's....

It looks good. I loved 50s PTC, great food, great service, great atmospher... loved it! La Hacienda is a unique setting, but I've found the food isn't spectacular. I'd still give it a 3rd or 4th shot, as it's not bad by any means. Congrats on getting CG too!

In need of a good ADR around MK??

Trail’s End Restaurant --- http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/trails-end-restaurant/ (Trying to throw you something you might not have contemplated. It's a great little find, a good value, and easily reached using Disney transportation. I won't say it's high-end by any means, but for the right...

Narcoossee's x California Grill x Jiko plus DDP question

If you haven't done Jiko yet, do it. It's amazing, you won't regret it. It's something you haven't done, so I'd give it the 'new experience' edge too (I like to try new things each trip). Narcoossee's vs California Grill is a bit more difficult. I liked Narcoosee's, it was a special dinner with...

So Who Got California Grill This Morning??

Thanksgiving, 7:10 I'm more excited than I probably should be, but it's the last ADR we wanted!

So Who Got California Grill This Morning??

As of 4:52 CDT the Disney website was taking ADRs for California Grill. (On a personal note: we locked-in at 7:10 PM on Thanksgiving. So, so excited... woke up the wife, lol.)

First time at PO:R, "Royal Rooms"

Ha, we've second-guessed our plans a bit over the past couple of weeks. We're not a commando-style touring couple anymore, but even at our more-relaxed pace it's crazy to see how much you actually get done if you break it all down in a TR.

First time at PO:R, "Royal Rooms"

Thanks! My wife is the photographer-type, so she'll be doing the picture taking. But, we do plan on spending some time actually appreciating the resort and the theming. I'm looking forward to checking-in and really digesting the whole place.

First time at PO:R, "Royal Rooms"

I actually plan on doing a trip report during/after this trip. It's been a while since our last trip, and only recently have I realized how cool it is to go back and see the little details I would've forgotten about if I didn't write it down somewhere in the first place.

First time at PO:R, "Royal Rooms"

The Royal Room is my wife's choice, so I don't have too much of a say in the matter. I've looked at a few pictures, so I know what to expect. It looks like nice little touches that add up to just a little bit extra. I don't think the small touches will be lost on us, even though we're probably...

First time at PO:R, "Royal Rooms"

Thanks for the location suggestions. That's definitely helpful! The boat is still a maybe for us. We likely won't have ADRs for DTD (still hoping for California Grill at Thanksgiving, lol), but I can see us going there for an hour or two instead of one of our planned mid-day breaks. I will now...

Driving to the World From the Northeast

We drive from near-Chicago, both for financial reasons AND because my wife has an irrational fear of flying that I've given up fighting against. It takes 16-20 hours with minimal stops. Much of it depends on the weather and construction (almost always in GA and northern FL). But, we are also...

First time at PO:R, "Royal Rooms"

My wife was able to change our resort for our upcoming NOV trip to PO:R (a Royal Room with a water view) from CSR. We can't justify the expense of a Deluxe, but we're super-happy that at least we get to try the only Moderate we haven't gotten into yet. Is there any tips/tricks we should know...

    ADR Question

On a sidenote: Congrats on getting everything you wanted so far. That's a huge accomplishment, especially for someone's first experience with ADRs.

    touring plans question

If you have a good understanding of how to handle crowds, you usually don't "need" a touring plan. Most of it is common sense: arrive early, don't wait in long lines, and have a good idea of what attractions you want to hit BEFORE you get to the park. Just have an idea of how long is an...
