    Updates to the Seas Pavilion

For some reason, The Seas with Nemo bothers me more than Gran Fiesta Tour in terms of having characters in place. It just feels like such a lazy attraction! Covering up the aquarium for a so-so dark ride doesn't fit for me. I feel like there is a way to still have Nemo if Disney really needs it...

News Test Track Closing for Refurbishment January 2020

I did notice a few things that weren't working when i was there in September, including all the temperature effects. So hopefully this helps to keep it up to decent standards. It also makes sense to do it while Spaceship Earth is still open (at least based on what we know now).

Was 2019 Disney World's worst year in a while?

I would have said no given some of the past years where nothing happened. However, the Skyliner problems have me wondering about it. When you add that to Galaxy's Edge not being the hit they expected, it's not going to rank among the best years for the parks. I guess a lot depends on the...

Opinions on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (Poll)

I like Rock 'n Roller Coaster and don't think it's a top priority in terms of what's still needed at DHS. I voted for "new band", but it's a real challenge to find a band that really fits given the wide-ranging audience of Disney. Aerosmith isn't perfect, but making the effort to change it now...

Has Disney Pricing Increases/Atmosphere Cuts Altered YOUR FAMILIES WDW Attendance?

Thus far, it hasn't made a huge difference in our approach since we only go once every year or two. However, I definitely pause when I look at some of the prices. Particularly with the tickets, you're stuck dropping a huge number on tickets for four people.

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

I think this is similar again to Chris going out in Ghost Island. If you have idol and think there's even a small chance you're gone, just play it. I suspect the others just did a good job convincing Vince is was either Tom or Karishma. I'm enjoying this season because the cast is great, but...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

I'm really enjoying a lot of the women in this cast. I also think the edit is presenting a lot of the physically strong guys as idiots. It's a great thing to see because it's such a strong cast overall. Kellee was so much fun and really smart this week. Missy is a player to watch on the other...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

For international seasons, I would recommend Survivor: South Africa, Season 6 especially. Season 7 (Island of the Idols) is worth watching too because the production is so well done. I've heard raves about Survivor: Australia. I've been watched S1 of the restart (2016 season), and it's been good...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

I totally agree. I haven't listened to all of them yet, but I really enjoyed hearing from Judd, Stephanie, Gretchen, and others on there. Given how many old-school players ended up on the Second Chances cast (Kelly Wigglesworth, Kimmi, Varner), I'm still surprised that T-Bird didn't make it...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

I would love to see another Second Chances season, especially if there's fan voting. I think with a second chance (especially if it's been a while), there's a real sense of urgency to the play. By combining that with the fan vote (which drives players to do well), it really could make for...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

I like having more time to meet the cast with a 90-minute premiere. For the most part, I think this is a great group of players. Everyone except for Dean had a confessional, so it was also solid editing (with a focus on the main story). I didn't mind the Rob and Sandra content too much. Yes...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

If any of you are interested, I run a Survivor pool through Fun Office Pools. It's totally for fun and there's no fee or prizes. Each week, you split up 20 points among which player(s) you think will be eliminated. There also a few bonus questions, and you pick a winner. If you're interested...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

Yeah. I saw the behind-the-scenes video where Jeff explained the role a bit too for Boston Rob and Sandra. I feel like this season could go so many different ways based on the advantages and how they work.

Oga's Cantina at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Basically, I was just doing a one-night trip over two days. I was getting to DHS before 6 a.m. and only planned to stay for 3-4 hours before heading to the Magic Kingdom. The time ended up being fine since I stayed at DHS until 11, thankfully. I just got the Black Spire Brew (which is cold brew...

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

Right. I just know on shows like Big Brother they've had "captains" that ultimately entered the game. I doubt it happens here, but there's a small lingering concern in the back of my mind.

Changes to Fastpass+ Tiers at Hollywood Studios Effective 8.29

I wonder if Disney won't make changes until after they see what happens with ROTR. I don't expect there will be FPs right away there and that the structure would only be shifted in the future.

Survivor S39: Island of the Idols

I'm both intrigued and a little nervous about this season. I think part of this may be re-introducing viewers to Rob and Sandra (especially Rob) to prep for a future season. Unsure what people here think of spoilers for what's coming beyond S39, so I'll stay vague at this point.

Oga's Cantina at Disney's Hollywood Studios

The earliest I can get an ADR for Oga's is 9:55 a.m. I was hoping to get earlier, but it sounds like it's walk-up at the start. Is that right?

Minnie Van Service during Extra, Extra Magic Hours

I looked up what a Lyft would cost from All-Star Movies to DHS, and it's a little less than $10. That doesn't include tip of course. So that's not too bad, but it does add up if you use it a few more times.

Minnie Van Service during Extra, Extra Magic Hours

Right. But if I'm only looking to use Uber or Lyft once or even twice, it's cheaper than renting a car and paying for parking at the resort too.
