    Nervous about dining

Simply stating a fact. If the writer is so nervous they should not go.

    Opinion on the Skyliner

Rode with my daughter and three grandsons and as the cars just slow down rather than come to a complete halt we could barely get everyone in. Can't imagine multiple families with a lot of kids.

    Nervous about dining

Perhaps if you are so nervous you should stay home. You might have to stand close to someone in the park so better be home.

    Opinion on the Skyliner

Much quicker than other forms of transport - caveat WHEN it is working. If there is a report of lightening in the area it will be down for 30 minutes after the lightening is over and then three complete circuits of the system - so about an hour. We stayed at the Art of Animation and as we left...

OKW 2 Br or AoA lion king suite?

Stayed in a Nemo Suite with 3 grandsons - 11,9 and 7 and they loved it. 2 bathrooms so they could have their own and rooms were so close to the Skyliner, the pool and the restaurant. The Skyliner when it is working is the fastest option for Epcot and HS. OKW can be difficult regarding transport...

    Resort Refillable Mugs Status?

Did a split stay last month - no problem. You can fill up the mugs yourself now.

    Need advice—Universal/WDW split trip

If you stay in a premier hotel, one of three, you will be able to walk on most of the rides without having to line up which is a huge plus. This means you can get round the two parks riding everything in a couple of days. We stayed for 4 days and it was way too long. A 16 year old would love the...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

So if there is one person who cannot take the vaccine the rest of the population must protect them? No! People have the choice and should continue to have the choice to be vaccinated or not. People can mask, stay indoors, do whatever or live their lives. This is the first time in history that...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Totally agree. My grandsons all had COVID with no symptoms - had to be tested because their parents had COVID. Son had 24 hour flu. Daughter in law's symptoms lasted a week like a bad flu case. No one was vaccinated. No one ever talks about those who have had COVID and survived which must be...

Disney alienates 90% of their guests......What is going on?

When staying at one of the three premier hotels the Express Pass is a huge benefit and the cost of these hotels is a lot cheaper than Deluxe Disney resorts. The rooms themselves are actually better too - even if not themed.

Disney alienates 90% of their guests......What is going on?

The point is that in future Deluxe resort guests WILL receive extra benefits. Previously if you stayed in a Disney hotel at any level you got the same benefits - longer time for dinner reservations being just one. The proposed new benefit - extra hours in the parks - will be available to Deluxe...

As magical express ends, can we expect cheaper rooms or are we just paying more and getting less?

When When has Disney provided more and charged less? That is your answer.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

There is also a thing called freedom of choice. Why should kids be responsible for adults when adults can choose to get the vaccine or not. If you choose to be vaccinated then presumably you trust that the vaccine will protect you form the worst symptoms of COVID - if you don't then why are you...

Depends on the menu. If it's like the food in Galaxy's Edge then not going.

    Frozen Ever After vs Maelstrom

Wish they had kept the film after the ride. We always stopped and watched it.

Do you think Disney needs new shows for their in park performance stages?

We used to love Hunchback - the cast really put their all into each performance.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

My son and family all had COVID. They were unvaccinated. Son had a 24 hour flu. Kids - 11,9 and 6 no symptoms - were only tested because parents had COVID. When a child is much more likely to die of the flu and those who COVID affects most are vaccinated then it is ridiculous to demand children...

Boma and/or Jiko opening soon? (Ihope Ihope Ihope)

Absolutely agree. Mara is a fast food option and if AKL is supposed to be a deluxe resort that is untenable. Sanaa is to far from AKL to be a real option.

Disney alienates 90% of their guests......What is going on?

I would add no more reservations 180 days out. Plus don't forget you don't get your sheets changed unless you do it yourself. Disney have extended any 'perks' to non-Disney hotels so why would you stay in a Disney property? It has become all about seeing what they can eliminate and guests still...
